A good budget option if you are day tripping and/or spending time in the center. Hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Good, reasonably-priced breakfast. Good wifi. Good shower and surprisingly quiet.

The hotel is very well located, especially if you are travelling by train. The entire city center accessible on foot. Good breakfast and comfortable bed. Staff is very friendly and pleasant and willing to help.

Ibis Amsterdam Centre has a privileged location, you will find everything you need within a few steps of the hotel. It’s glass architecture allows a spectacular view of the center of Amsterdam. Just opposite, the famous LOVERS ferry service, the main station is right next door, as well as trams, ferries, buses. The room is clean, pleasant, soundproof. The view from the room is breathtaking! Even if it's raining, it's nice to look out the window. the entrance hall is also sophisticated with its marvelous chandeliers and a very lively decoration. The rules of higyene are at the top. The most important, front desk clerks are very attentive to the needs of the customers. Warm welcome, the receptionists are smiling, quick, efficient, kind. A top-notch welcome. At Ibis Amsterdam Center we always have amazing stays. Top 10 hotels in Amsterdam!

Comfortable and convenient

This hotel is comfortable, clean and convenient. The staff is very nice. We did not purchase the breakfast option, and chose to grab a morning coffee and croissant at the station. We stayed for 6 nights in a room facing the Rhine river and train tracks. The windows are soundproof, and we did not hear any noise from the trains. It was fun watching the boats and barges on the river. It a convenient location for either riding a tram, ferry boat or walking to restaurants and museums. By US standards, the room was very small, but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well designed and the AC worked. There is no coffee or hot pot in the room. Coffee may be purchased in the lobby. Bring or buy a bar of soap to use, the one they give in bathroom is tiny. Shampoo and shower soap is in a squeeze bottle attached to the shower wall. We have stayed in Ibis hotels before, and we expected all of this. The hotel is good value, especially since we spent little time in the room. The area in front of the hotel appears unsightly because of thousands of parked bikes, garbage on the ground, and smokers outside. Don’t be concerned, once you enter the hotel, you are presented with a clean and efficient lobby and friendly check-In. I would definitely stay here again on any trip to Amsterdam, pleasure or business.

Noisy hotel, under renovation, poor service and overall terrible experience.

Unfortunately, no one asked me when I checked out about my visit at your hotel -- one of many issues I faced during my stay. So I emailed my complaints to the team. They apologized but offered no compensation for the challenges I faced during my stay. As an Accor member, I have come to know and expect a certain standard of service at Accor hotels. However, I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel for a number of reasons: 1. I was awoken on my first morning at 9am with the cleaning staff banging on my door. This is way too early for a cleaner to be checking if they can clean my room. I never ended up getting my room cleaned because I left the 'do not disturb' sign on my door as I didn't want to be awoken again so early. 2. I was awoken every other morning, however, with banging from the repairs going on in the hotel. I never had a good sleep because of the constant banging, dropping of tools, workmen in the hallway talking, etc. If a hotel is going to be making repairs and it's going to make so much noise, they should notify guests in advance. I would have chosen another hotel. Surely the ability to have a quiet night sleep is the most basic thing a hotel can provide - this hotel failed on this account. 3. Because of the repairs, the general atmosphere in the hotel was one of disarray. There was sawdust in the elevator that got onto my clothes, there were tools and nails lying in the floor. This compromised the safety of guests. The hotel area being renovated should not have been open for use. 4. I spoke to someone at the front desk on my last night there and asked for a wake up call for my room the following morning. No one ever called. 5. I was surprised to learn that guests have to pay for coffee in the hotel restaurant. There is none in the rooms. Surely this is also a basic that all hotels provide. Overall, it was a horrible stay and will certainly not be staying with you again.

Otel konum olarak, merkeze ve tren istasyonuna yakınlık olarak çok başarılı. Odalar klasik İBİS odası. Tuvaletler daha temiz olabilirdi.

Otelin konumu mükemmel, havalimanından kolaylıkla ulaşım sağlayabilirsiniz. Aynı zamanda şehir merkezinde gezilecek bir çok yere de yürüyerek ulaşım sağlayabiliyorsunuz. Ancak odaları biraz ufak, odada terlik, Electric Cattle ya da kahve vs ikramı da yoktu.

otelin konumu çok iyi. İstasyon ve merkez yürüme mesafesinde. Daha önce de birkaş kez kaldığımız bir otel. Yalnız bu sefer vardığımızda elektrikler kesikti ve min. 1 saat daha gelmeyeceğini söylediler. Tadilat sebebi ile sıkıntı vardı. Odamızı verdiler fakat 5. kattaydı. Bavullarımızı 5 kat yukarı taşımak zorunda kaldık.

The hotel was in good location and had great welcome from staff. Good response to inquires.Food was okay. Amenities were not enough. We heard some luggage was stolen from the staff which was scary and surprise to us.

Despite there being a power cut on arrival, we were treated like VIPs. Special mention for Stefan whose wit and good humour put everything in perspective. Great location and friendly staff; would definitely stay here again.

Amsterdam nightmare

Absolute nightmare when checking in as I had done it on line but when we got there we still had to wait because everyone was just standing around the centre table. unfortunately the pin machine didn’t work to pay my city tax and I told them I would pay the next day, they then decided to contact me at 2100 hours and asked me to come down to reception to pay of which I said I would pay it in the morning. Then on my morning of departure there was a power cut , o was on the 9th floor and there was no one to contact until I walked down to the 5th floor, there should have been a member of staff on each floor directing people and advising what was going on. I then went back to my room had no power I ended up packing in the dark no shower facilities so you could see how angry I would be it was a shambles there were no staff to contact for help.

Otelden memnuniyetsiz ayrilmak zorunda kaldik , booking.com daki fotograflardaki gibi rahat oturum bir oda yok ,Odalar standartlardan ufak ve yuruyus holu oldukca dar , bir valizlik bile yer yok , son gunumuzde buyuk bir elektrik kesintisi oldu , butun otel calisamaz hale geldi , 7 inci kattan kendi valizlerimizi indirdik , ustune kapi acilmadi iki kez daha indik ciktik , ben odememin geei verilmesini istiyorum
