You come to expect a certain level of quality, facilities and amenities when staying at a 5-star hotel, and previous visits to the Olympic Park Pullman had left a favourable impression of the Pullman brand. The Brisbane Pullman is a completely different experience - whilst the rooms are quite large, the bathrooms are very dated and in serious need of refurbishment. Terrible lighting didn’t help, but maybe it was deliberate to hide the nasty fixtures. Would be lucky to pass as a 3-star bathroom. We tried to get a drink at the bar but were told that we couldn’t get one unless we also ordered a main meal - I’ve never had this happen before, and there were not any lockdown restrictions in place that might have required this. The mini bar in the room was also empty, not even bottled water. Again, I’ve never seen this in an allegedly 5-star hotel. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel, especially as we were paying $350 per night. There’s no way I’d stay there again, and don’t know how they can claim to be 5-star when there are so many things missing.

Travelled to Brisbane for a business trip and needed a central hotel for the night. The Pullman was a lucky find, reasonably priced, good spacious room, clean and modern. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful to requests for information. All in all I believe it was excellent value for a good class hotel. Will stay there again next time I have to travel to Brisbane.

Your hotel room was very nice. We told desk we were going out and woman at desk said our room would be serviced but didn't happen, same next day so a drink was given while we waited. In resurant we got charged for other guests food. Then my husband used his account to pay for our stay the night before we left and today I find they just took the payment out of my account which I left at the desk on booking in. I checked my bank and yes We have paid twice. It's been very stressful. After not being able to use my Accor membership I get ttreated like this.

reading some of the other reviews on the Pullman , was beginning to think we had stayed at a different hotel !! check in staff were friendly smiling and efficient , our room had an Nespresso machine but no small espresso cups only mugs a call to reception and cups were delivered within 5 minutes .. b/fast staff were very friendly as were the staff in the restaurant for dinner , the ICE CREAM WAS DELICIOUS .. Yes the rooms could do with a bit of a update especially the lighting but overall we were quite happy .. Our one complaint is as a platinum member the Pullman did have a lounge which is not operating at the moment have no idea why !! for our 3 day stay we were given 6 drink vouchers , i.e. 2 drinks a day , silver members and above get a welcome drink anyway , so to compensate a platinum member for no lounge access we were given 4 drink vouchers - pretty poor recognition for loyalty.

After a slightly disappointing experience last month we decided to give this hotel another chance and were pleasantly surprised in all aspects. Checkin was fast and a pleasant experience. Being a Diamond member we were given early access to the room and a very late check out. The welcome platter and a bottle of red was much appreciated and very well presented. Jodon, one of the duty Managers was outstanding with superior hospitality qualities. Breakfast had couple of notable additions as it has smoked salmon and an omelette station. The room was clean, inviting and spacious. Will definitely return.
