My favourite Cairns hotel by far with fantastic stuff. Manny (30 years there) is great and Massimo so welcoming. As you walk in to the atrium you could be in Vienna with its old world opulence. My heart lifts! Mark, owner Blue Dive.

We stayed in a king room overlooking the mountains. We did not get a upgrade as a platinum member which did not bother us that much breakfast was okay. Nothing special we didn’t have dinner at the hotel. Swimming pool area was okay but the downside is there is no shade in the Australian Sun which made it unbearable to sit around the pool and enjoy it. The pool itself was nice. Looks like a bit of renovations on the way but without the umbrellas and shade it’s impossible to sit around the pool without getting burnt rooms were very nice nearly decor bathroom very big bed was comfortable.

Last minute booking after a hotel issue in Cairns. We lucked out and are super impressed with the property and will certainly return here on our next visit. Lobby is spacious and from an earlier time but solidly, clean and spacious. Good check-in from Azeem and ample parking downstairs. But the room and the view! This is our third trip to Cairns and the nicest room we've had. It has clearly been refurbished recently to a very high standard and with a pretty aesthetic. Large layout, neat small balcony and hyper clean bathroom. Very impressed - we'll be back!

Decent hotel; terrible breakfast buffet

The room accommodations were quite nice and we had a balcony that faced the water. We had a major problem with the breakfast buffet and contacted the assistant manager via email to express our deep concern. I have waited for over a week and no response, no acknowledgment, no resolution. It is disappointing that a property of this caliber cares so little about its clients safety and well being.
