Nice hotel in a very convenient location. Spacious, clean rooms. Polite and professional staff. Good restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet has lots of meat and eggs options. You can order freshly made omelette with fillings of your choice. Lots of pastries. I would prefer more dairy options. There were one yogurt and white cheese, that was all. Nice bar with friendly staff. There could have been bigger drinks list, but that was OK. I would visit the hotel again.

We chose to spend our last night in Almaty at the Novotel as it was close to our apartment and the rooms looked fresh and modern. We had a lot of luggage and we were able to store most of the cases in the storeroom with the help of the courteous and knowledgeable bellman. All the staff we encountered on our first night, including the staff at the restaurant, were excellent and great ambassadors for the Novotel brand. Check out in the morning was marred by the rude male staff member manning the desk. If he’d been the first person I had to deal with on arrival I would have declined to stay at the hotel and demanded a refund. He clearly doesn’t understand that he is working in the hospitality industry.
