A Very Pleasant Stay

We had an excellent stay here. Very close to the railway station and an easy walk into the City centre. Plenty of dining options and a lot of supermarkets. Our room was quite spacious with excellent WiFi. There as are discounts for Accor members at the cafe at reception and they had an excellent scheme if you skip the clean daily there is a five pound voucher you can redeem at the cafe. Very reasonable room rates and all in all a pleasant stay.

We always stay here when visiting friends/ relatives in Cambridge Location is brilliant if you're arriving by train Only 55 mins from King's Cross, not sure about car parking ? It took me around 20 mins to walk into the city centre via some nice parks.

The Chill #2 Café is a great place to get some work done with helpful staff like Sarath and Val adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This modern hotel right outside the main railway station, is part of a mixed use development offering a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets. There's a great sociable feel to the ground floor area when you walk through the doors. Reception is always staffed and the staff are cheery and welcoming. My top/5th floor room was decorated in warm colours and immaculately presented. Breakfast is served in a dedicated room on the 1st floor and offers a great continental and hot selection. It can get busy if there are a lot of corporate guests staying. The city centre is around a 15/20 minute walk, but there are also very frequent buses. If you're a light sleeper, ask for an inside room as the bin men start around 6am and impatient motorists like sounding their horns at night! I had an evening meal on my 2nd night and although the menu is largely pizza based, they also do soup and will warm up the sandwiches etc they sell.

Regular at the cafe in the Ibis and I absolutely can recommend it. The interior and atmosphere are relaxing even when full. Both Melissa and Sarath are very nice and helpful and especially Melissa is always chatty and friendly whenever I'm ordering something. Finally, the food is great for the price as well.
