Review from Sue & Kev (Silver Accor members) on Novotel Stansted, CHRIS, South African gent (Restaurant & Bar), made our stay SO special on my birthday with attention to fine detail. We stay at the Novotel a couple of times a year when flying from Stansted. It's always good and with the pre paid parking on site, it's good value and relaxing. We've just had an excellent meal tonight in the hotel restaurant. James & Vivianne were lovely and make our evening all the more special. Particular thanks must go to James who looked after us so well.

Use this hotel pre and post annual holiday as great parking as well for duration of stay, very nice hotel with gym, and restaurant and also bar menu , perfect way to start holiday with shuttle bus to airport only 10mins (£4)

Met with a friendly lady at check in. Room was fine. Had a meal which was actually very nice in the restaurant. Can’t fault anything or anyone really. Very nice.

Great location for a night before our Stansted flight. Booked as a hotel & parking package which was excellent value for money. Friendly staff, lots of Xmas parties as well as travellers so nice atmosphere. Comfortable and quiet room with everything we needed for a short stay. Ate in the restaurant - nice food and a chilled start to our holiday. Only criticism is the design of the entrance doors! Sliding doors which on a cold night the whole of the ground floor, including the restaurant, were chilly as everytime guests came in and out a blast of cold air came in. Apparently there used to be revolving doors which kept it much warmer. Felt sorry for the reception staff who were frozen. Also meant we weren’t particularly comfortable in the restaurant so left immediately after we’d eaten rather than staying in the bar for a drink.
