A Warm and Practical Stay at ibis budget Zurich Airport Special Thanks to Manager Ana and Her Amazing Team I stayed at ibis budget Zurich Airport last month, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation—especially to Ana, the manager, and her team who made my stay smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant. Many people often focus on rooms when reviewing hotels, but I’d like to highlight something that travelers might overlook: how incredibly convenient and practical the location is, especially for those using public transport. Super Easy Access by Public Transport:-) The hotel is located just a short walk from Glattbrugg Unterliet tram station, which connects directly to both Zurich Airport and the city center. (Better is to go to Airport first for connection to city) I didn’t need a taxi at all—within just a few minutes, I could reach the airport or hop on a tram straight to Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main station) or Bahnhofstrasse shopping area. For someone who relies on public transportation, this was perfect. Close to Shops, Food, and Local Life Everything I needed was within walking distance, and yet it was still a peaceful place to rest. It gave me a taste of local life in Glattbrugg without feeling too touristy. Now back to the team, Ana, the manager, stood out. She was warm, approachable, and clearly led by example. Her team reflected that same energy: always ready to help, smiling, and making sure guests felt welcome. Even small things like helping with local transport info or recommending where to eat made a big difference. Final thoughts: ibis budget Zurich Airport might be a budget hotel, but the service, convenience, and human warmth I experienced here made it feel far beyond that. It’s not just about the rooms—it’s about people, connections, and ease of travel. Thank you again to Ana and your wonderful team. I hope to stay here again soon. Normally the prices are 110-120 CHF which not that bad, but I bought breakfast in advance and was totally regret of it. Will not recommend it. The rooms are very small. No cattle in the room, noisy with a lot of problems. The best think is the location it is close to train 10 and 12. Staff doesn't allow me to early check-in. So in general I will not recommend it

. We arrived at about 2300 hrs due to a delay. The hotel was easy to get to via tram. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. It was great to see a self service laundry on site as this was part of a bigger Airbnb tour. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Gluten free rolls available at breakfast.

Great airport short stay

Was surprised how comfortable this hotel was. Room was modern and clean. Quite quiet too except for the occasional airplane which is expected but no other noise heard. Tram is right outside so very easy to airport and trains. Didn’t use restaurant since I shopped at the airport grocer. Would recommend for short stays.
