I had booked 2 nights separately, checked in and was advised we had the same room for 2 nights. We then had the staff knocking on our door, which had a do not disturb sign up and despite saying I’m booked for two nights, the reception staff then started phoning my room, hassling me to book out as it was check out time. No apology nothing never again will I stay there, so unprofessional

Dear Hotel Manager’s, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Mercure branch. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I have had at any hotel. The front desk staff was not only rude but also unhelpful, which significantly impacted my stay. Additionally, I found the parking system to be quite misleading and felt that it was detrimental to guests. I believe it’s important for hotels to provide a welcoming environment and transparent services, and I hope my feedback can contribute to improvements at your branch. Staff were great however our room 476 was in poor condition as was the hotel overall. The room was tired and the bathroom very poor.

We stayed to visit family, we didn’t expect to have a sea view! Room including the bed was comfortable. Good shower. Excellent breakfast, good bar, really friendly and helpful staff. Only negative is the hotel could do with a decor refresh, but it’s not a brand new hotel so decor was acceptable. Watch where you park the car, seagulls leave calling cards on your car, but that’s what is expected at the coast
