Hello Mercure is the right address for a very pleasant holiday. It is easy to reach and the staff is very helpful. You will feel this clean and comfortable hotel like your home. I would especially like to thank Sara and her team mates. Love to you Diler

Zero star. First when we arrived we saw the luggage ramp closed off. Really? You have people arriving with luggage and you have the ramp roped off? That makes no sense at all. The sign says you have to call and ask for assistance. Nope. Not happening. Very poor facilities. Bathroom is gross Very old fixtures. Shoddy workmanship the way the towel bars are attached to the wall. The sink is old. A plug stopper? Seriously??? And severely out of date shower fixtures. No iron or iron board in the room. And instant coffee??? Horrible. Room has ripped carpeting and furniture that is worn and looks like it came from shelter housing. The WiFi doesn’t work at all. I booked this room only because I needed convenience to the station for an early am train and only for one night. NEVER again would I stay here. I tried to look for other rooms in the area to switch hotels but unfortunately none were available. This place needs a serious overhaul badly. The management should be embarrassed.

Great location, everything within walking distance of the hotel. Hop on busses start very close to the hotel, which is also handy. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the park and the seeing the old town and castle in the distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi at our room was very poor; slow and after 3 minutes you lost connection again (at the 6th floor at least) Our bathroom was very, very outdated and not as the pictures showed online. They showed a very modern bathroom, yet we were surprised with a very old bathroom, tiny and outdated. The doorhandle barely worked and almost fell apart. The toilet had trouble flushing a single piece of toilet paper and the shower was so low, we couldn’t even fit our shoulders under it. The sink had two taps, one very cold, one very hot. Not handy at all. Breakfast was alright, nothing special but had most things you need. Bar at night was poor, received beers in a bottle, with a soda glass.

I have rated this two stars - one for the friendly staff and one for the location. For the cost per night our room was most disappointing. The Furniture and decor was shabby with the wood on doors flaky, infilled holes in the bathroom tiles and bath sealant coming off making it look quite unsightly. Never again!!

We were here as a couple for two nights. The room was as small as a single room, the walls were full of drainage lines that were loud, the window were missing curtains to block people looking in although the curtain rails for them where there, and only had curtains to darken the room. The rooms "view" was into a courtyard with all kinds of airconditioning units, that emitted a rather loud hum, dirty stairs, dirty walls, pigeons, etc. The room had no aircon but the noise from the courtyard did not allow tomopen the windows. The very narrow bathroom seemed to be from the 70s with an old shower over a small, short bathtub, damaged wall tiles, a damage in the wash basin and an old linolium floor. The breakfast room was also rather uncared for with really dirty windows, chairs with dirty spots on them and a buffet that was ok but nothing special. For me this was the most disappointing hotel room ever and a rip off as it was not cheap and I will not stay at a Mercure Hotel again. Two points for good, central location only.
