Nice and cosy hotel in style. The location was amazing. Next to the bus stop to the airport and stop for bus Hop on Hop off. Shopping area and restaurants. The staff was very kind and they were cleaning our room every day. Breakfast had choices for vegetarians. I love that! I do recommend this hotel for sure. Thank you again for your hospitality and lovely experience!!! :)

The hotel could not have been in a better location to use trams and explore the city, my friend and I were here for one night to see Bruce Springsteen. The staff we encountered were a credit to the company and first class, we found our twin room a little small but for a night it was no problem. We would have liked a hot section on the b/f buffet cut we knew this at time of booking so no problem, the late night bar was good with once again nice polite staff at all times. We were on the second floor and heard little or no external noise at all

Very enjoyable and pleasant stay at ibis St. Andrew Square! This hotel is in an outstanding location in Edinburgh’s new town. All of Edinburgh’s most notable sights are within short walks (5-15 minute) of this hotel. I also think new town is a better area to stay than old town — more peaceful, but also just a short walk to all the major sights as mentioned! The hotel was very clean, and the staff was welcoming and helpful! The lobby area was particularly nice and stylish. Complimentary breakfast was a solid perk. Our room was satisfactory — not a large room, but certainly suitable for our stay. The room was clean and organized. The bed was also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel! 4 star review based on the small size of the room, but overall…an excellent location, comfortable and clean hotel, and good value for the price, in my opinion.

Highly recommend l! I would have given this a 10+ review if that was an option. Best, friendliest, most conscientious, environmentally-minded accommodation I’ve ever experienced in my long life! I came here with friends to explore Edinburgh. Through a rental car mishap (city is crowded right now after Covid), we had to stay in Edinburgh for an added five days. Although we had no reservations at this busy, booked hotel, the managers and staff did everything possible to find a room for us. We came to love these people. Every one of them was amazingly helpful. The breakfast provided here (included) proved to be my favorite all-time healthy breakfast. Every aspect of the hotel is environmentally sustainable. Most impressive. Rooms are small but have everything we needed. The place is upscale, in the heart of the vibrant city, and has excellent beds. I have never experienced such gracious hospitality and customer service. This is a place to which I will return! Thank you to Ibis!

Just checked in to find that the room we checked into (although clean) had no tissues, no face cloths. It was suggested when I called down to the desk about the tissues that there was a toilet roll! I also asked for a bar of soap instead of pump soap and that was not available either. On the plus side, the staff are friendly but for 550 pounds a night we expected minimum amenities. So, bring your own tissues. We’ll see how the rest of the trip goes but so far, we are disappointed.
