Funky and campy, this hotel embodies the Edinburgh Festival Fringe -- the barman and staff are super helpful, the rooms are neatly decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed there both solo and as part of a group, and the staff made both seem seamless. We shall haste back!

Exceptional and will definitely be back!

The room is very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and walking distance from all the great attractions in old and new town. The best part of my stay was the staff. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay and experiences in Edinburgh fun. I want to give extra special callouts to Zsanett, Tatiana, and Reece for being fantastic! I will definitely stay here again. Btw, Try everything on the Nibble menu.

The hotel and the service was great. We loved the artistry of the hotel. The balcony was the icing on top of an already great stay. And Tatiana (Front desk staff) was simply exceptional! We felt cared for. The breakfast was good as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Location (10 Min walk to to Royal Mile), Friendly Staff, and a really nice breakfast spread in the mornings. Cons: Very costly, and room size was literally a bed with perhaps 1-2 feet of space around the sides. Price to square footage ratio was probably the worst in all my travels. Recommendations for travelers: It seems that if you wan to visit Edinburgh you will not get a good deal on hotel that is close to the Royal Mile. Considering staying at a much better B&B outside of the city and take a train/bus in for daytrip tourism. Will get much better bang for your buck that way.

However, we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. While Edinburgh is a popular destination, especially in the summer which can reflect on accommodation prices throughout the city, we do our utmost to offer value for our guests and we appreciate your feedback. As for the size of the rooms, our building's unique historical character as a former bank means that each room varies in shape and size. While we understand this may have been inconvenient, we hope the recent refurbishment of our public areas added some comfort to your stay. Additionally, we are excited to announce that a refurbishment of the rooms is planned for later this year, aiming to enhance the overall guest experience. Nonetheless, we are thrilled that you found our location convenient, just a short walk from the Royal Mile and other attractions like the Scott Monument and Calton Hill. The receptionists are very welcoming and accomodating. The hotel's interior is very cozy. Rooms are clean with very good shower! Breakfast is good. We'll be coming back again next time. Thank you to Jonathan for accomodating our request.
