Our room was clean and warm but very very small. The room is not designed for two people and their cases. A large person would struggle in the bathroom. The bathroom had body gel, shampoo and hand wash. Breakfast was continental so breads, muffins, fruit, cereals, anchovies loads of hams, cheeses, hummus, salmon etc. They had almond and oat milk which was good, Great location, quiet and central.

An interestingly decorated hotel, not my ‘cup of tea’ but lm sure someone would love it! Our room 605 was good, cosy bed, great shower and amazing views over Edinburgh. I would have expected some bottled water and a more generous hospitality tray given the price of the room but there was a coffee machine and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good -continental, but rather spread out around the bar. Lots of open pots which having seen a guest lick the peanut butter spoon and return to the pot, lm not sure this is a great idea…. We had an evening meal which was ok for the price. Staff shortages meant we had to wait a while but in all fairness they were very apologetic. We would stay here again as it’s in a great location but would struggle with the open potted breakfast offerings.

It was amazing. Zoltán and Zsanett was very helpful with us and made our trip memorable. Breakfast was delicious. The location allows you to reach everything in the centre in minutes. All receptionists were very nice to us, all our requests were solved.

Stayed at this Hotel for two nights Tuesday 10th / 12th December, and had a great stay. I have used this Hotel on two previous occasions over the years, and saw a big improvement from before. I believe they have had some renovations done to the bedrooms. They have fitted large t.v. screens to the bedroom wall. The bathroom has a choice of rain or conventional shower head. Arran bath product are also provided. The Continental breakfast choice is varied although no hot produce is available. Many years ago they did provide a cooked breakfast but cost saving probably changed this option. I paid £404 for may stay via Booking.com which I thought was quite expensive, but Edinburgh is an expensive city anyway. Great Hotel in a nice location.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The interior is stunning, combining elegance with modern comfort, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I have to give special mention to Holiday, Usman, and Jonathan for their warm welcome during check-inn and later they booked castle tickets for us and helped with food recommendations
