The hotel is very well situated in the centre of the city within few minutes of walk from the main attractions (Edinburgh castle, Grassmarket, Royal Mile). The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides facilities like indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. It also offers a private parking which is £22/day but a discount will be applied (£18/day) if you join the All program, which I totally recommend. Suitable for families and pet friendly.

Wonderful hotel in the city center, the room was spacious and was very clean, the entire experience was remarkably price worthy and in all areas very friendly and helpful staff (thanks again Ackthar!). Had a really great stay at Novotel City Centre in Edinburgh.

Not a very good experience

We had booked 3 rooms. Inspite of informing well in advance we didnt get parking in hotel parking. Room feel and comfort was very average. We requested vegetarian food for breakfast but we got hardly any option. Same items like boiled tomatoes, slice bread and hash brown was available for all 3 days. We requested to talk to chef to just make either sautéed vegetable or one item as we had kids and family. But that request was also denied. There is no activity in the hotel. Swimming pool is also average. All in all will not be staying again at this property

Perfect location, right in the heart of the city near all the main attractions. Clean rooms and facilities, the buffet was great and awesome value for money with kids eating free! Thanks to Yesica who served us each day and made it ever more memorable! Highly recommend!
