The hotel is in need of modernising. Most of the areas smelt musty, especially the bedroom. The plumbing for the toilets is shocking and kept blocking. The bar staff worked hard but some didn’t really know what they were doing. Unable to change the post mix for the lemonade. This was for our daughter’s wedding. The service was shocking, waiting an hour and half for the main course. The out side garden tables hadn’t been cleaned, dried in bird poo on the benches. Everything running behind cause they couldn’t cope with two weddings at the same time. Ours seemed to be the one that got forgot about. The list is endless. I don’t recommend staying here and definitely not booking your wedding here. They charge 4 star prices for a 1 star stay and service. The red carpet treatment that they promise you, will not materialise.

Room was horrible hole place needs refurbishment walls really thin ceiling peeling cleanliness not great Staff was not very helpful when I told them the state of the room they were like of thanks for letting me know This hotel could be so much more if someone took control of the appearance letting your selves down

Had such a good afternoon at the mercury in Hull. Went to the Grange Park Hotel (Mercure) over in Willerby for Afternoon Tea with the husband. We both had a great experience to the point I needed to write about it. The team were amazing. The food was great and the experience was excellent. Highly recommend.

The management and staff at this hotel are working above and beyond to turn this hotel around and are doing a terrific job. The food was absolutely excellent. Rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The management really cared about hotel guests.

Stayed here for the 1st time to attend a family gathering, room was spacious and clean. Grounds quite big, garden was lovely! Also has a gym, swimming pool and health spa facilities. All staff encountered were lovely and friendly, couldn't do enough for you! Especially Nickie & Linda on breakfast, greeted with a smile and very knowledgeable about what the buffet offered (alot of variety and definitely something for everyone). I will definitely stay here again!
