Overall fine but beds weren't made up.

We were staying for one night after a gig so overall served its purpose but one thing really disappointed us. We arrived back at the hotel at 11pm after the gig and found the bunk bed for the 3rd person wasn't made and the bedding was just piled up on the bed. With the double bed being made up ready I do think us as guest should have to do the third one ourselves. If you're looking for a cheap hotel it's fine with the basic amenities but if you're in a similar position, make sure the beds are made first!

Horrendous hotel. No facilities. Rooms are like prison cells. We arrived, took one look at the room and refused to stay. Guests using drugs in elevator, staff did nothing. Agreed to refund then reneged once we had left. Still trying to get the refund over a month later.

The hotel is budget so we didn’t expect much and it covered our needs fine as a base to sleep. The room was nice and warm and towels are provided however the main fault was that the shower room absolutely stank of sewage and every time neighbouring rooms flushed the toilet (which you can hear through the walls) the smell came back. It had obviously been cleaned so that was not the issue, it must just be connected to all the waste pipes. In the morning you could smell the bleach fumes coming through presumably when they were doing their cleaning rounds. One lift was out of order during our stay which may have been a problem for someone on a high floor or with difficulty using the stairs as the one lift in use is quite small and often busy. One pillow on the double bed was nice and soft and the other was very hard to the point it gave me neck ache, however there was a bunk in the room which was not in use so I swapped to use that pillow which was fine. There is a small snack area and drinks available and they do a continental breakfast however we did not try this so cannot comment. The price was not much lower than other hotels so would be tempted to pay that bit more and go elsewhere purely due to the smell. If this problem was fixed it would be fine as it is ideally located within a short walk from the centre. Maybe we were just unlucky and not all rooms have this problem?

We arrived today from Holland and have never had such a terrible experience with a hotel in our lives. Within two minutes, we walked out. The dirty sheets, the smell, and the room being far too small for three people left us extremely upset. We requested an upgrade, but the manager told us it wasn’t possible. We then asked for a refund, which was also denied. Finally, we tried to book a room at another Ibis hotel, considering it's the same brand, but even that wasn’t allowed. This entire experience was a complete waste of our money (€440) and we demand a refund. We will never book with Ibis again, and no one else should either. 👎🏽

I love this hotel and also it`s nice and quiet inside my room and also they do nice breakfast of your choice [and you`ll have to pay £4.95] and it has a bathroom and a TV. I recommend this to anyone who likes to be alone after a long journey, whenever you`re meeting friends or you want to chill out. Definitely a must!
