Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi - MGallery 5 ดาว

An elegant hotel in a great location, near the transport links, lake and shopping. This was our second time in Hanoi but our first in this location and we preferred this area. Walk to the lake and main traditional shopping streets is an easy 10 min walk max and the open top bus tours are just around the corner. The hotel organised an airport pick up for us so x4 adults with x4 large luggage cost approx £75. It is easy to get taxis at the airport though. Rooms: We had the King suite rooms and both were very different in layout and size. It was a good size generally with interesting city views. The bathroom felt cramped. Good shower with consistent hot water, plenty of toiletries, nice towels and robes etc. Tea and coffee and water, comfy bed and quality linen. No bedside cabinets just tiny tables and no drawers. No mirrors near a socket or natural light. Good hairdryer. Good A/C. Food; Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Service was slow although the staff were lovely. Food inconsistent each day. Bar; the cocktails were lovely but like breakfast getting some service was a bit hit and miss. Tips: Reception can be really busy and slow. They do their best to help so try to settle your bill before you check out of the room.

We stayed for 3 nights a very enjoyable stay. We felt very much welcomed staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the concierge for the excellent Vietnamese Restaurant recommendation and help to set up my GRAP (South asian Uber) account. Loyal accor guest are taken care really well, we benefited from nice Opera view room and treats at the bar Fee Verte. Thanks to the staff to make our staff really enjoyable and wanting us to come back

If you are a frequent flyer and find in the metropols of the world a hotel with crew like this - you will simply call it „your home“. M-Galery L‘Opera was now the third time my selected destination and again so valuable from the view of a business traveller. Good workspace in a clean modern boutique style room, large bath room and a phantastic bed, simply what „we“ are looking for. Great also the friendly team and the good restaurant. Breakfast is great and nothing beets the location close to the opera, the stock exchange and the old quater in walking distance. Great hotel

We had a fantastic stay here, the location is perfect, right in the centre of town and close to Hoan Kiem lake. Check in was a breeze and we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. The bathroom too, which was almost as big as the bedroom! My only feedback would be that the shower temperature wasn’t very warm on its highest setting. Housekeeping do an excellent job and will bring extra amenities such as water when requested. We used the laundry service and this was very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is tasty and there is a large variety on offer, including cooked breakfast and fresh waffles and pancakes made to order. The rooftop pool was a welcome break from the heat and pool snacks and drinks are available to order. We really enjoyed sitting in the bar before heading out for dinner, there are a wide variety of cocktails and other drinks and snacks. Our kids really enjoyed the chocolate milkshakes. It’s a shame the bar closes so early given it’s a hotel (10pm) as there were a couple of occasions where we came back for a drink but it was closed. We did however find another bar down the street called the Mayfair Lounge. The service here was very good and the staff friendly. Overall, I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again.
