Just a few months after my first stay (when I gave a high rating) I was greeted by what you can see in the pictures below (show the bed, toilet paper and bathroom door). I have no words to express my disappointment. Old and dirty. During the night I had to breath this unknown white dust that was pouring out from under the mattress and on either side of the bed. It looked like lime. It hadn't been cleaned all the time. I barely made it through the end of my stay. The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. I don't give 1 star just because of the wonderful staff. I will never return to this hotel.

Nice clean central hotel. Love all the choices around the hotel for eating. Close to Westfield for shopping. Easy to get to places on the central line. Comfy bed and pillows. The only thing I am not keen on is the bathroom and also there are no hand towels provided just bath towels. staff are friendly and efficient room is clean. Breakfast is ok not really good value for £27 for 2 but there are other options. Would stay again

Only positive is location, hotel is redundant for sleeping due to lazy staff and full of inconsiderate foreign families

The only positive of this hotel is the location to the Westfield London and Shepherds Bush tube station. We stayed for 2 nights this week and have had the worse experience ever thanks to lazy staff and inconsiderate residents staying over at the hotel at the same time we were there. 3 calls to reception on the first night due to screaming kids running up and down the corridor from 10-11.30pm and only after the 3rd call did a member of staff bother to come up and have a word. 2nd night consisted yet again of people shouting in the corridor on our floor which I went out and asked to stop due to a long day in London seeing shows and a husband who is disabled and needs his sleep. They did seem to listen and no other noise until 2.45am when a large group decided that it was the best time to have full on conversations near our door at a loud volume waking both me and my husband up. Really didn’t need another night of broken sleep as we were travelling home today with minimum sleep thanks to the inconsiderate people staying on our floor and the lack of the staff sorting the issues out. Seems to us as if the hotel has been booked out to a lot of foreign families possibly for long term which I have no problem with - however it would have been appreciated if we were made aware of this before our booking so we could have booked elsewhere as they were all so rude and inconsiderate. Another massive issue with the stay was the world’s most uncomfortable bed which has left me and my disabled husband with horrendous neck and back ache. Will never stay in this hotel or brand again and feel completely disgusted that the whole point of your hotel is for sleep and didn’t get any.

I stayed a the IBIS Hammersmith for several nights while I was exploring the NW corners of London and its environs. The hotel was clean, neat and the staff were friendly. The hotel has basic services - small bar and eatery with limited selections of drinks, and a very nice breakfast offering. The rooms are clean and as a single guest, more than adequate. in room there is a mini hanging area and some shelving to store ones clothes. The desk are is under the window and appointed with a water boiler with teas, and plugs. The bathroom is a cruise ship style enclosed mini unit. It was clean and served its purposes quite nicely. If you are reusing your towel(s) you should hang them outside the bathroom enclosure to ensure they dry between showers. Located very close by (less than 5 min walk) are Lidl, Sainsbury's, Wetherspoon 's Central Bar, Shepherds Bush tube station, several pharmacies, a McDonalds and at least two coffee shops, was well as several small take out style eateries. I plan to stay here again on a future trip while I roam around west London.
