Welcoming staff at check-in and at the breakfast. Clean rooms, coffee area and fine beds. The hotels is next tot the Hoofddorp train station which will bring you to Amsterdam Central and Schiphol Airport. We enjoyed the breakfast. Will stay again.

We always have good experience with Novotel especially when we travel with our children. This time we booked a family room, but unfortunately the bed for the children was not made when we entered the room. At first the front desk crew proposed that we would wait at the lobby for about 10 minutes. As we were tired from traveling this was not a satisfactory solution. Therefore we asked for a room that was already prepared, which we got. (It would have been nice if this would have been the first proposed solution.) Apart from that little incident at check-in , our stay was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and just a few meters away from the Dutch railway station. From there it's only on stop to Schiphol airport, so perfect for a stay before or after a flight. Hoofddorp shops and mall is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. As we had some spare time between check-out and our flight, the desk staff guarded our suitcases while we went out for lunch and a walk around town The kids enjoyed the playroom with the Nintendo and the over-sized fussball table.

The rooms were clean, the price was reasonable, and the service is elegant. Breakfast is delicious but relatively poor due to Corona, check-in and check-out process is fast, staff is smiling and eager to provide a high level service I highly recommend it

I arrived Thursday night for a 1 night stay. I have been welcomed by a young employee, a bit hesitant as it was his first day, but who did everything to make my stay a very nice one. Congrats to the hotel spending time at training employees. Great experience, fantastic room and above expectations service.

very nice hotel near Amsterdam centre. Parking possibility next to the hotel. Great reorganisation of the breakfest Buffet during the COVID19 period ! Nice and cosy room. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

It's getting much better

The last trip in November 2019 was not satisfactory. There were significant problems getting out of the car parking because international credit card billing did not work. In February 2020 I was back at the hotel and the parking and driving out worked according to standard. The rooms are very good and clean, a reasonable price-performance ratio. But not outstanding. The breakfast buffet is decent and the omelet and scrambled eggs are going almost well. The only tear is the raid-like chaos after the passage of Asian tour groups. However, this fact is not the fault of the hotel, but has to do with the small amount of food for these guests. For business travelers like me, this means that you cannot enjoy breakfast, but that you have to defend yourself by using at least one plate and one cup for table use and seat reservation. The path between the breakfast buffet and your seat should not be too long. The evening menu of the hotel is very small and very Dutch. The few meals are mostly fried and simple. After my question about drinks that are isotonic or low in sugar, I was offered Sprite or 0Cal Coke. I would be happy to explain to the staff the health problems of these two beverages. I was then offered a wonderful mint tea that tasted great. The reception staff is always friendly and helpful. In summary, the stay is highly recommended due to the location and the distance to the airport. I am sure that the few less than perfect processes can be stopped in the foreseeable future. Enjoy your stay.

A very nice modern Hotel 4 minutes by train from the Airport. Staff were very efficient and friendly and the breakfast was very good. As a Gold card member both of my booked rooms were upgraded and this was appreciated.

Located next to a train station and within 10 minutes drive from the airport, it is an excellent hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff that will also provide advice and tips about the city, shops, restaurants and bars that are within walking distance. I definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

This is probably one the best hotel I have stayed in, around the Schiphol area. It's only a short walk from the Hoofddorp station, from where you can catch a bus to Schiphol Airport. It is Clean, has great facilities, lots of space, good food, a great design and amazing Staff. All round cool! Would love to stay again

The staff are always welcoming. The food is great, lots of varieties to choose from. Excellent location, very close to the airport by bus (300 or 397 less than10 mn) or train ( only one stop). You can also get the service 397 to Leidseplein.

This hotel has a great location, convenient for the airport and the Amsterdam area. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant and housekeeping of the rooms needs to be improved. When we took dishes and cups for the self-service breakfast, we had to search for clean ones. The dishwasher does not do a good job. We also had various housekeeping issues with our room. Some were addressed promptly, others not. Not all the staff is customer service oriented.

Very happy with our stay. Chose to stay here for our Amsterdam trip rather than closer to the city and it was a good choice. 5 minutes walk from Hoofdoorp station and about 25 minutes into Amsterdam. A lot of thought has gone into how to make use of the spaces. We booked an executive suite in the summer sale as a treat and the extra space really enhanced our stay. Although marketed as the Schipol airport and we could even see the runway in the distance and the planes landing and taking off from our room, we were not disturbed at all by any noise. (This contrasts with Novotel Lisbon which was virtually right under the flight path, which we also stayed in on the same holiday.)

Poor service at the restaurant

Service at the hotel restaurant were non-existing. I had to wait one hour for my meal and eventually have to leave and find another nearby restaurant. This after reminding the staff several times. The rooms and check-in services works fine however. Aim for restaurants away from the hotel. A bit of walking though but much more service minded.

Overall the service was good, it's required improvement with cleaning inside the room. Internet was so bad the segnal was lost most of the time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Location is fantastic its near from the metro station and near from sichpol Airport. I will book with your hotel again as I feel very comfortable with my family in this place.

Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a great hotel. The breakfast that was included was excellent. Compared to the other two Novotel hotels we stayed at in Brussels (Midi Station) and Central area of Amsterdam (INK), the Schiphol Airport Hotel was much nicer, cleaner, and had excellent value. The other two were very small, dirty, and expensive for what you get. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for accommodations close to the airport...about a 12 minute dive.

Good but outside the city

The hotel is located in business area near the airport. Really nice and one of biggest hotels in the area. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quite and large room. I have stayed for a couple of nights over there, and have 2 notes They didn’t supply the room with bottle of water as a daily refreshment. As a result the coffee maker in the room became useless . The other note is the parking, it will cost around 17+ € and with hotel discount at reception it will be 14+ for one night. I thought customers deserve more discount. There is a train station to Amsterdam very close to the hotel and the cost is 11+€ for return train tkt (15 minutes). Bus stop is the same and will take maybe 30-45 minutes to Amsterdam. So you need to study transportation cost very well before you stay in the area especially for families. Also only one mini market, take away restaurant and one coffee shop in that area.

Oda ve restaurant temizdi ve hizmet iyiydi. Ancak standart oda rezerve etmeme rağmen otelde standart olmadığı belirtilerek executive odayı tutmaya mecbur bırakılmam ve bu nedenle her gece için ekstra 20 EUR fatura edilmesi hoş değildi. Konuyla ilgili yazılı geribildirimim sonrasında ilgili ekstra tutarın kredi kartıma iade edileceği bilgisini bir kaç gün sonra ulaştı. Henüz 40 EUR’luk iade gerçekleşmedi, bekliyorum. Ayrıca revize faturayı da talep ettim ancak o da henüz ulaşmadı. Bu sorun dışında konaklamam güzel geçti.

Otel guzel ve detaylı bir mimariye sahipti ancak banyonun su gider ivmesi yanlış yapıldığından duş sonrası bütün banyo su içinde kalıyordu ve Malesef temizlenmesi için otel görevlisi cagırmak zorunda kalıyorsunuz.
