Good solid airport hotel, just wish they’d read emails a little more!

As per the vast majority else that stay here - an overnight stay between flights at Schiphol. Accor Diamond members and a family of four. Booked a superior suite to sleep four. Positives. Literally five minutes from the airport on very regular trains. €2.80 per adult & €2.50 per child one way. So just over €20 round trip. Hoofddorp station is literally steps away from the hotel front door - Ignore reviews saying it’s a major walk. Elevator access straight from train platform if with heavy luggage. That said. Obtain a digital train ticket prior to arrival to scan out of the station with a QR code. As a one off visitor I didn’t wish to purchase a ‘smart card’ each for such a short journey from vending machines at Schiphol. Late check out kindly provided until 3pm. A great double sized foosball table in the bar. Negatives. Emailed ahead saying early check in not required as we wouldn’t arrive until 23:30 at the earliest. Main request to ensure the room was set up (sofa bed) for the children due to the late arrival and inevitable tiredness. Sure you can guess - it wasn’t. This is just unprofessional and not wanted at such a late hour. Breakfast is pretty average. Welcome drink limited to €9 so think Heineken or soft drink despite an extensive range. Shower gel in room empty. Minor issues but cumulatively they strike as a typical airport hotel - get them in get them out. Needs a little more attention to detail to excel.

Decent hotel at reasonable rate.

Its a decent hotel - biggest advantage is the proximity to Schiphol airport and walking distance from Hoofsdorp station. The breakfast spread was good - but options for meals are limited. Rooms are rather small - but since we as a family took to attached rooms - it did not feel so small. If you are visiting Amsterdam for 2-3 days - its a good choice. The hotel seems to be in a business district - and not really close to the tourist spots - but transportation is not really a problem due to the proximity to the station.

This hotel was chosen by my employer as the head office is walking distance from the hotel. It is also convenient to the train station with few stops from downtown Amsterdam. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was also good. I do wish they had a shuttle to the airport.

Excellent hotel, very kind stuff, cozy and large rooms, very clean bath and linens, super gourmet kitchen. Location is perfect- near to airport, modern business park, bus and train stops next to the hotel. Excellent services- luggage safe, playground area for kids.

Standard Novotel Hotel

Very standard Novotel Hotel with clean rooms and facilities. Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Amber from the front desk was very helpful and served with a smile. Much to be desire from other front desk team members like Ali** and Ti** who looked sad and had a "get out of my face" attitude. The breakfast spread was decent, and the team was continuously filling the trays supervised by the Chef. There is a private parking next to Novotel who charge by the hour or approximately Euro 18 per day. They do provide 15% discount for Novotel customers, but you need to get a discount coupon from the front desk. The front desk ran out of discount coupons and all we got was a "sorry can't help you". The only major issue is the drainage, beware that your bathroom and sink can get flooded very easily. Overall, good stay.
