Located centrally in the beautiful Hunter Valley area, an older building in design with the hotel rooms showing its period in decor and design but was nice and clean with a balcony. However, it is starting to show signs of wear and tear due to its age in construction. The facility has nice common lounge areas with fireplaces and beautiful gardens. I ate at their in-house restaurant and had the vegetarian arancini for the main with a local wine, which was nice. The staff were very friendly and the location was nice and central.

Good basic hotel plus great staff, especially the assistant manager Kaycee..? Easy access to the local sights. No elevators, so ask for the first floor if you’ve got lots of luggage or a senior, like we did/are. All the breakfast with this chain, Hotel seem to be the same. Don’t expect anything special.

Valentine's Day it was my first overnight date in 6 years since my done was born. You were understaffed it took 1/2 to check in cause one person was on. The room was adequate but nothing special notes of coffee options. At to rush for diner cause being understaffed we had two slots 6 .15 of & pm. So we had to rush to be and it the food was well below par wife was successful head chef at the Hilton. And Sheridan on the park in Sydney. Her take on the food was that the appetisers could have been mains and the mains appetisers. The food combination was poor and did not go together and over all pretty poor. My wife felt ill afterwards the next morning try to sleep in but contracts started working so that put and end to that. The previous night would have nice to have a spa to relax but pubic hair was nothing short disgraceful snd unsanitary breakfast was another disappointment. One on service could not even make a coffee. Stale pastries and just awful food. Spoke two two other couple who shared similar experiences.. over all you ruined what’s Holly to be a very special getaway and I will steering friends and colleagues away from this plac.

Terrible stay. Rooms were very outdated, had a weird odour and they need a pest spray as there were spiders everywhere. I asked the manger for a blanket as there was no extra in the room which didn’t show up, and neither did the extra plate and cutlery with our room service. The phone didn’t work so we had to walk the length of the hotel every time something was wrong. Pillows were low and uncomfortable. Tv didn’t work. We had a late checkout at 2pm which I paid extra for but was not captured. Once fixed by the manager, the cleaners still came knocking to see when we were leaving. Terrible lack of communication, and a real disappointment to such a nice weekend. This is not a $300 room, and I wouldn’t have even been happy paying $150 for it. Very disappointing

Stayed at this hotel with friends last year and loved the location and facilities as a result decided to come with same friends this year and make it into a little tradition. Unfortunately, our stay that was good on the whole was completely ruined by incompetent and rude duty manager Hayley Semenczuk who embarrassed me and my husband in front of our friends and the entire patronage of the restaurant plus made my friends pay for the hotel’s staff mistake in communication. After today experience of spoiled Sunday me and and all my friends and family would stay firmly away from this hotel as even seeing this incompetent person still there would mean re-living today’s dreadful experience again. Being an Accor member and a platinum member for a number of years now made today’s experience the worst of ALL experiences. This lady most definitely not competent in customer service and basic communication skills to occupy management position in hospitality where customers and their experience is Paramount. I never written a bad review previously but this time I had to share, to highlight that it is not only the property that define your experience, but the people who make is special and memorable!
