If you have the option to stay elsewhere, please do. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had during any of my travels. Here is what I experienced: 1. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Im not typically one to complain about the beds when I stay in hotels, but this was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was as if they just laid a mattress topper on a strip of wood, way too firm. 2. All three laundry machines were broken, which was a bummer because we specifically booked this place with laundry services in mind. 3. Death trap warning: my friends and I wanted to cook in the kitchen provided in our room. When we turned the oven in our room on to cook a meal, almost immediately, a small flame ignited and the oven immediately filled with smoke and began to fill our room with smoke quickly. The staff at the front desk proceeded to blame us for the lack of maintenance on the oven, and charged us 700 euros for the incident. When we showed them that the fire wasn’t our fault, the manager became incredibly angry, and refused to stop harassing us until we paid the 700 euros for their negligence on their machinery. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your safety, and if you want to be valued as a guest. They only care about taking your money.

death trap hotel -- literally

not a great location. not well maintained. e.g. there were three on-site washing machines -- all three were out of order. there was a problem with my shower that the property never addressed. but worse: the oven in my room literally caught fire when i turned it on. this wasn't "burning food" -- it was an electrical or mechanical fault inside the top section of the machine where the heating elements and fans are located. a manager came up to my room and threatened to kick me out if i didn't pay him a 700 euro bribe, despite me showing him photos and trying to point out scorch marks inside the oven proving where the flame had come from. i wish that was a joke but he did this point blank, in front of two witnesses. this was possibly the worst experience of my traveling life. worst of all, the "manager" stated point blank that he had no intent to have a technician look at the oven. which means it remains a death trap. hopefully germany has a "negligent homicide" law equivalent to the usa, and he'll rot in prison for the rest of his life if somebody dies next time his incompetence and dishonesty start a fire.

I have booked flexible bookings for December and the hotel has recharged. When calling the hotel to sort it out I was unfortunately subjected to speaking with Said who is without question the rudest member of staff in a hotel I have ever experienced. Really not looking forward to my trip and am trying to get ALL Accor customer service to find me alternate accommodation.

A great budget self catering apartment. This is the second Adagio we have stayed in, helpful staff, good facilities, central location and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended. Close the the main railway station and local tourist sites.

A Perfect Place for Families to Stay

Our family of 16 stayed in this hotel for three days last December. Three things I like about our family staying in this hotel. 1. Access to the Munich Central Train station. It is a walking distance, so no need to hire an Uber. This is good for us given that we are a big family. There are also a lot of multi-cultural restaurants and groceries nearby. And a beer garden which is also of walking distance. Marienplatz is also a walking distance. One just had to walk straight. 2. The rooms are clean, well designed, complete with ameneties (microwave oven, dishwashing machine). The good thing is there is an unlimited supply of coffee or hot chocolate when you go down to the lobby. The lobby too is well appointed with a place for kids to play, There is also a laundry area. 3. The receptionists were also very helpful and accommodating. Jasmine is very kind and always have a big smile and a welcoming disposition. I would definitely go back here with my family.
