Nice short stay to visit Expo 2020

Good hotel, close approximately to Mall of the Emirates / Metro and other attractions like Dubai Marina, JBR and Dubai Mall. My stay is to visit the Expo 2020. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with room for improvement. Unfortunately there's no fitness center/gym to be used.

Bad room experience

First time to stay at Ibis Mall of Emirates and will be my last. First day i entered the room the bed side lamp was tilted and about to fall. 2nd day i had a cockroach in the the bathroom as well as midges flying all over the place. Last night in the room i noticed that the bed sheets are smaller than the mattress as well as long black hair on the mattress (i'm bald). Apart from my room the location is good and the staff are helpful but for one receptionist. I have stayed in a lot of hotels ranging from 2 to 5 stars and this by far is the worst of them.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, unresponsive reception desk, late wake up call

Reception was disrespectful and unwlecoming. When I tried to ask for a trolley to take my bags to my room, the man at reception actually said to me "this is a budget hotel" and did not help. Reception never picked up the phone. I asked for a wake up call at 4:40AM, I got a call at 4:55AM. Thankfully, I set my own alarms and didn't rely on them. Worst of all, I booked a non-smoking room and the room SERIOUSLY smelled of smoke and I wasn't able to breathe all night as I slept. I tried calling reception SEVERAL TIMES and no one picked up. I was too exhausted from traveling to make my way over to the desk in the middle of the night. Also, the towels did not seem clean at all. I told them in the morning about my issue and the receptionist just went upstairs and smelled the smell and did not attempt to get in touch with me, or offer me ANY compensation. Terrible hotel. Book anywhere else.

A very good stay for a tired traveler. The staff was very helpfull (especialy Nestle, hope I wrote her name wright, took care of all my problems and always had a good piece of informations for my questions). Good location, neer 2 metro stations, grocery store right neer the hotel. Very clean. A very good stay, I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is right price/ performance ratio.The rooms are small,the bed was comfortable. The metro station is near,and there are many restaurants in the surrounding area.The staff was very helpful and hospitable and there for every need of mine.Thank you Mary Cris for attend our request.

When we arrive in the hotel, the lobby is so clean and it has good ambiance. We are upgraded to Novotel Hotel for some sort of reasons. The receptionist named Mary Ann assist us with a smile on her face. My partner said that he is very feel welcomed upon arriving in the hotel. We definitely come back again soon. Kudos to the staff who assists us in checking in and upon checkout. 👏👏👏

Nice and quiet stay, location is 5 min walk to Mall of the Emirates and variety of restaurants with Carrefour on walk-able distance from the hotel which was convenient, friendly staff, breakfast relatively ok but could've been better.

Great Location and poor service

Location wise, its great hotel for stay. However service wise i don't think so. I didnot feel like staff are there to serve guests(may be) Neither i was suggested, nor helped. Telephone was not picked up for long, transferring calls from 1 place to another with no help. I still remember after 1 and half months of staying there and still dont want to remember that stay. And i dont think will be back.. Thanks guys for leaving me 1 no option to select hotels.

I've always stayed at Ibis Hotels after staying at the one in Luxembourg. The prices are reasonable especially for tourist who hardly stay indoors. At Dubai, Mall of the Emirates. I sent an email prior to arriving for them to do something special for my 10th wedding anniversary....and they designed the bed for I and my wife's arrival...It was very beautiful. The customer service was wonderful as well. The only downside to our stay was the Canteen. It was not up to standard with regards to the food options....The scrambled egg was appalling 3 days in a row....compared to the ones we cook at home and the ones we have eaten at other hotels....How can you even call that scrambled eggs..... Anyway, customer service was on point at the hotel and the manager ensured we were fine every time he encountered us at the hall way or reception.

Front reception staffs (Daniel, if i am not wrong) are really helpful, breakfast choice sufficient, room clean and air con work well, room size small but ok for single or couple traveller. Near to Mall of Emirates but take long time to walks (walk round the building).

The check in was a very bad experience. The online check in is useless since I waited so long. Besides, the receptionist had taken in charge someone who was after me, so unprofessional and disrespectful.

Clean, well run hotel. Well priced. God location, easy walk to Mall of Emirates. The tourist agent in the lobby is a great asset and help - a one stop shop to sort out your itinerary, especially if you don't have much time and want to make the most it.

Staff was very kind, reception, bar and travel desk made us feel like in our home.Very good price/quality and with a metro station at 10 minutes walking that was very good to move on the city.The transfer to the beach is a very good facility as the possibility to use the swimming pool of novotel (hotel together with ibis).Next visit i will choose you again.

Smoking small in the room on a non-smoking level

I've spent three days and my shirts smelled like I was in a smoking lounge for a week. It was very difficult to sleep in the condition. The aircon was even blowing more fumes into the room. The condition of the rooms show the age of the hotel. I will not return.
