The room was fine - pretty much exactly as you'd expect for an ibis budget. It was clean and didn't smell bad (I've experienced weird smells in ibis budgets before), the bed was rock hard but sleepable, there are multiple lighting options controlled by a panel above the bed, all is good. I'm pleased they've moved away from the little bars of soap they used to provide and now instead have a bottle of handsoap in the room. The breakfast was appalling. The meats and cheese were curled up at the edges, room temperature, and weirdly crispy, despite the fact I arrived an hour after breakfast started (and there were still 3-odd hours to go). The milk was room temperature. The croissants and pain au chocolats were severely burnt. There was a 'remove before use' sticker still on the toaster, which slightly worried me lest it melt/burn on the toaster and cause an issue. The service also wasn't great. I checked in online, and the email regarding this said I'd be able to pick my key up when I arrived. I arrived and said I'd checked in online...and then had to check in again in person, a process which took a solid 10 minutes and included an ID check (something I've not experienced at other hotels in the UK). The lady doing it wasn't particularly polite nor pleasant. The Tesco Express attached to the hotel is a great plus - I'd recommend grabbing food from there rather than the hotel itself. Overall, fine to put your head down, but not good for a longer stay - and don't get the breakfast!

Ibis Budget Hounslow was very disappointing. The room is very cramped, showers and basins are in the room with no privacy. Not sure how the 3 bedrooms are called family rooms. When my daughter wanted to take a shower or get dressed I had to physically leave the room to give her privacy and she had to do the same for me. The basin was also blocked but not an issue as I do understand it's a small maintenance issue that can be sorted quickly. The toilets are very small and a struggle to get in and out. The toilet door doesn't even lock which means with the slightest push it swings open. This was a problem because when you sit on the toilet your knees touch the door. Air conditioning didn't work in the room which means the window had to be open during the night. This would have been fine but taking the location of the hotel into account the noise was terrible coming from outside. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was the bare basics of a continental breakfast. No variety to choose from just the very essentials to qualify to call it continental. No fruit and only two pastries. Dirty cutlery but also a lack of. Paper cups for coffee. All around after a disappointing room another disappointing breakfast. The toaster was broken on one side which meant people had to queue up to use it. The only good point of the whole experience was that the car park was reasonably priced. £13.50 for 24-hours parking was well-priced for the area, but the car park was absolutely filthy. Rubbish spread everywhere and a puddle of sick was next to my tire when I parked up. Should be renamed as Ibis Low Budget Hotel Hounslow. All in all a very bad experience. Would I go back? No Chance.

A warm welcome from friendly staff. Very clean room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fast, steady wifi and breakfast available if required. I always stay here to recover from a long flight landing at Heathrow as it’s so convenient. The staff try to accomodate early check in but this adds a quite large cost. Can be a plus if your flight gets in very early in the morning. There will be airplane noise so worth asking for a room on the quieter side.

It's an Ibis Budget. There are pictures of the rooms on the website and on Tripadvisor. Why then are so many guests surprised at their style and size? Mine was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly. Ease of access to Heathrow and affordable rates make it a winner.

Awful hotel. Rooms tiny, not enough room to swing a cat and the shower is practically in the room so no chance of privacy if your staying with a family. The bed was horrendous, booked a room for 3 adults and it consisted of a double bed with a bunk bed so small my son could barely move and trying to climb it was horrendous, a total health and safety risk and accident just waiting to happen. The room had no air and a small window we could not open. I can only imagine this is what prison feels like, actually I’m sure it’s probably nicer in a prison cell. The lady on reception was incredibly rude on check in too. Please avoid.shocking.
