I’ve stayed here in the past and not encountered any major issues, yes the rooms are a bit tired, but the restaurant is really good, staff are nice, it’s close to the airport and the beds are really comfy and warm, which is good - in winter. I stayed here for two nights and they were both uncomfortably hot! Firstly you walk into reception, which is nice and cool with their Air-Con running. But as soon as you step out of the lift, the stuffy heat hits you. The rooms don’t actually have air con, but rather “air cooling” which is essentially a fan blowing in whatever temperature the air is outside - it was 25 degrees the day I stayed - see where I’m going? Despite having the thermostat set to the absolute minimum, the room was roasting hot. Reception apparently ‘ran out of portable fans’ so clearly I wasn’t the only person experiencing these issues. Now I totally understand that a hotel can’t have thousands of fans on standby, but surely a hotel as large and busy as this, can invest in an actual air conditioning system? Especially since the reception are has it! The windows do open (albeit limited) but then you can hear all the cars and aircraft, further impacting sleep. So I had two very hot, uncomfortable and sleepless nights which I was very frustrated by! Also, the water in the bathroom hd a very strong smell of chlorine/bleach, which only dissipated after running the water for around half an hour! Doesn’t exactly make you want to put it on your skin or drink it, does it? So yeah, don’t stay here on a hot day and bring bottled water ;)

Worst hotel experience ever. we arrived late due to flight delays and were informed at 1 am that they cannot check us in cause their computers had an issue 2 other families as well and sent us to another hotel also ibis but it was in a bad area tiny rooms dirty and looked like a hotel that hookers would use. we went back next day having paid for our toom and requested compensation for the fact that our room we paid $170 for and we were sent to a $50 a nite room and for compensation . the idiot on the desk said it was not the problem is was their computer system to which i replied that is your problem you idiot it's your computers, not mine he offered a continental breakfast worth $10 as compensation. we slo had to walk a long way to the hotel cause the police had a street block due to an issue next door to the hotel that the driver would not go down. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS AND SCAMMER HOTEL COMPANY

Convenient to Heathrow airport (take bus for £1.75 from Central Bus Station to Harlington Corner - tap contactless credit card upon entering). Smallish room, but the typical Ibis class hotel. The air conditioner was noisy all night (we stayed again before departing England and that aircon was a bit quieter) 15 minute walk to the Avis/Budget rental car counter. Paid parking is plentiful, with the first 20 minutes free to unload. If you need a bit more time, please arrange it with the front desk. We were in a panic when leaving the first time and again when trying to unload before our second stay, until Shakib offered great customer service by giving us some extra grace period so we could check in, get our bags into the room and then move the rental car back to the Budget lot. Shakib saved us a great deal of anxiety and put a wonderful end to our month long trip. A long way from a grocery store or convenience mart, so plan ahead !

British Airways provided a voucher for this hotel when my flight was cancelled. It is quite a basic hotel offering a decent service to stranded travellers. The reason I am giving five stars is nothing to do with the room, food or location (which were all adequate for an airport hotel), but for the service provided by a member of staff at reception. As I was entering the hotel, a very elderly lady was struggling to walk with her bags and walking stick and clearly needed assistance. She had missed a flight and was staying at the hotel until her early flight the next morning. I helped her to the front desk where an amazingly kind member of staff (really wish I had got his name) went above and beyond to help and support her. He kindly walked her over to the restaurant area, arranged for her to have something to eat, set an alarm on her phone, gave her a room next to the lift and even asked her permission for a staff member to knock on her door the next morning as she was hard of hearing and he didn’t want her to miss her flight. He was a true gentleman- warm and caring and a huge asset to the hotel. If he isn’t already manager, I’m sure it won’t be long before he is promoted.

Booked the hotel early flight. Arrived very late. Such an amazing welcome with member of staff engaging and not doing the usual: name, credit card, etc. Room clean and functional as you expect in ibis. Loved the little cube by the desk to charge tablet etc Pleasantly surprised. Extremely good value and a warm welcome is always a plus for me in any standard of hotel Beyond expectations and will stay again! Ps: And a great bar just to relax
