This is a good "budget" hotel very close to Heathrow and easy to get to from the M25. Checkin was swift and painless, the car parking is a bit on the dear side @£15:50 for 24 hours but I imagine this is to deter people parking here and heading off on holiday. The corridors in the hotel are quite basic and aren't the most inviting but the room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed including a kettle and some coffee/tea. I saw the resturant menu and checked the reviews and saw there were many that were negative but then again they seemed to be a few years ago so I chanced it. You need to select a table and then order at the bar. The staff were polite and efficient and I went for the steak, chips and salad. When it arrived I was pleasently surprised how nice it looked with the steak cooked exactly how I asked it to be done, the chips, thick fresh and crispy and the salad very nice and not just a few leaves of lettuce. The steak itself wasn't the best in flavour I have ever had but was good, really tender and as I said really well cooked. All in all with a decent pint of Camden Pale Ale it was a really nice treat. If you don't like french dressing you may ask for this on the side as it was generously added onto the salad. The bed was ok but be aware that many travellers leave early for their flights so there is some noise from early in the small hours - not excessive but if you are a light sleeper like I was that night, you might be woken up. I didn't have the breakfast but judging from the vening meal I would think it was probably quite good.

Good stay, as we had a morning flight got away with £8 for 12 hours parking. Reception staff really friendly, nice bar area. Didn’t eat in restaurant. Room fine except entrance into shower very small. Do yourself a favour and don’t buy anything from the shop / kiosk, ridiculous prices. Overall a decent stay

Booked as airport stay. Reception fantastic and room had everything required in it. Excellent for a one-night stay before a flight. Thought breakfast a little pricey- there is a McDonald's just along the road. Would use again if flying from LHR.

Make sure you don't get a room where there are building works going on opposite!

Do NOT stay here. Having stayed at many branches of ibis and giving them a lot of business over the years, this will be my last visit. First time to this branch. I booked a day room between flights and then had another long flight to China. I paid £50.00 for the room, plus an additional £30.00 for checking in early. When I arrived, they couldn't find my booking. I was then allocated a room where there were building works going on opposite! What was the common sense in doing that? Surely the staff would have known this and why put guests through that torture? It is unfair to sell rooms like this. At the time, I should have asked to have my room changed, but the noise started about an hour after I got into the room. I was in bed resting as I was not feeling well and also had zoom meetings. The noise then started and didn't stop except for a few gaps. Really loud drilling and banging. I ended up feeling worse with a terrible headache. By the time I got off my calls, it was only an hour or two left. I couldn't see a phone in the room and thought there is no point having the room changed now. When I complained upon checking out, the manager was very rude. He had no sympathy. Offered no explanation as to why I was given this room and was totally not interested in me as a guest. Shocking customer service. I have asked for some sort of refund, but was refused. Surely a hotel should not be allowed to sell rooms where there are building works happening on the same floor? It can also be dangerous. The room was fine otherwise. Basic, typical ibis. WIFI worked well.

This was our second visit and again it suited our requirements. The food and service was friendly and was good value. The room was accessible and in fact the same room as before. It certainly is on our list of places to stay when we need to be in that area.
