We stayed in a superior room with lounge access. Check in was not good - there were several queues and people who had just arrived walked directly to the reception desk and were dealt with instead of advising that there were 2 queues of people waiting, this was frustrating. The staff member when we checked in was not friendly and very dismissive. So first impressions were not good. Our room was fine - we had a delightful view of the roundabout, this was weird! But we were only here for the night and definitely not here for the view! The lounge staff were wonderful, namely Sujeewa, Ronaldo and Dipa. They made sure our glasses were topped up and that we had lots of nibbles to try. It was very busy, but they remained unflappable and made sure everyone had a good time. We then went onto the Bar - very busy and rushed. Breakfast was another story - they were putting items out and sadly we needed to get our flight, so we didn’t get to have any breakfast service.

Ronaldo at the Club millesiume was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for him and he was attentive without being intrusive. He searched for the wine I enjoyed and made sure that even though I was on my own, I was made to feel relaxed in the lounge.

Our waiter, Leopold, was kind, attentive and was just so thoughtful. He made sure that we had all our needs met. We were really happy with our service and will definitely be coming again. We appreciated the kindness that he showed towards us as a family.

Excellent service by Wilson at the Sphere Bar. It made us comfortable and relaxed ahead of our flight the next day. I would definitely recommend the bar here as the food is top quality and the drinks on offer really are good for everyone going, whether it be the soft drinks or mocktails for kids or alcoholic drinks for adults. As for the hotel it is very comfortable and the quality of sleep got here is very good.
