The Sofitel is ideally paced if you are flying out of terminal 5. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with nothing too much for them. The rooms are well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and room to breathe. The restaurant is the perfect place to relax the night before you fly and the ideal place to finish your holiday in style if on the way home. I would highly recommend the hotel and its wonderful staff.

I wish I could comment on the hotel itself, but we did not have the opportunity to actually stay there. We booked this hotel as a stop over between Lyon, FR and our flight back to the US the next day. Our flight from Lyon was delayed over 8 hours and we had to make alternate arrangements to get to Heathrow for our flight home. This involved a train to Paris, overnight in different Accor hotel in Paris, then an early Eurostar to London and Heathrow. When I tried to cancel the Heathrow hotel, I was informed that it was not within 24 hours and would be charged, despite the fact that it was for causes beyond our control and staying in another hotel from the same company. I made several unsuccessful attempts at getting a refund. I then noticed that while I did receive "ALL" points for the stay in Paris, I did not receive any for the Heathrow night. Upon inquiry, I was informed that I couldn't receive points for two stays on the same night as only the cardholder gets points and I couldn't be in two places at once. So, they can charge me for being in two places at once, but won't get points for it. Bad customer service. Do better if you want to keep me.

I recently stayed at the hotel within walking distance of Heathrow’s Terminal 5, and while it’s incredibly convenient for breaking up a long international journey, there were a few pros and cons worth mentioning. The location is unbeatable if you’re flying in or out of T5 – no shuttle or taxi needed, just a short walk. The rooms themselves are spacious and modern, with well-designed bathrooms that feel luxurious. Amenities like a tea and coffee maker are a nice touch, and the beds are large, though a little too soft for my preference. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was quite loud, which might bother light sleepers. There was only one USB charging point in the room, which felt insufficient given today’s needs. The breakfast was a mix of hits and misses. It included a full English spread, but oddly, there were no baked beans – a surprising omission! While the food quality was good overall, the lack of this staple stood out. The biggest drawback, however, is the cost. The hotel is very expensive, though the convenience of its location and the comfort of the large rooms might justify it for weary travelers needing a quick rest. In summary, it’s an excellent option if convenience is your top priority, but a few tweaks could make the stay feel more in line with the high price tag.

beautiful facility. I arrived exhausted after over 24 houra of planes and airports and I couldnt have been happier. I had a comfy room and slept well. A big shout out to Noor who arrived at midnight witha Cesar Salad and a beautiful smile! Just what i needed! Noor really was the highlight of my stay. Grazie Mille Noor!
