Can’t fault the location, staff or hotel. Only reason it’s got 3 stars is the beds were very uncomfortable and the doors paper thin that you can hear every conversation on the corridor. Wouldn’t like to use it for a week but if you are flying out of Heathrow or back in transatlantic, it’s reasonable.

Hotel didn't have my booking details even though I had all of the correct details and paid up in advance. Hotel shuttle only operates to Heathrow Terminals 2/3 and 5 but not 4 which is where I have an early morning flight to catch, REALLY!! 🤔🤔 Breakfast is not served untill 06.30 so any early flight and you are screwed. A bit odd if you ask me as staying at the worlds busiest international Airport 🤔 Receptionist was quiet rude during the drawn out check in process and asked me for I/D. Something I have never had to show being a UK citizen staying in a UK property 🤔 Lucky I am taking a flight as don't usually carry my passport with me otherwise. Not a great start to my holiday and wish that I'd spent a bit more money and stayed elsewhere and had a nice breakfast, a later bar and all in a more friendlier place. I won't be staying here again!! There are plenty of other options and would advise to give this one a swerve. On a plus note, they have my fav beer, Mahou on tap but hardly any time to enjoy what with the delay at check in and early (for a hotel) closing time.

The delay during your check-in was due to the booking being made through a third-party agency, which sometimes causes integration issues in retrieving guest details. Regarding transportation, the Hotel Hoppa service is operated by an independent company, and unfortunately, it does not run to Terminal 4. However, our reception team is available 24 hours to assist with alternative transfer options. Our standard breakfast service begins at 6:30 a.m., which is clearly communicated on all booking platforms. For guests with early departures, a packed breakfast can be arranged upon prior request — unfortunately, no such request was received in your case. Please note that we are a budget hotel and provide standard facilities accordingly. While we aim to deliver comfortable and convenient stays, our services and amenities differ from those of full-service or luxury hotels. This hotel is close to the airport and the price was very competitive. The room was large and clean with an attached bathroom. We had a television and tea and coffee making facilities. No hairdryer though, but I believe you can request one to use from reception. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a bit of a pain having to use lifts to get to reception as it took a while to get one as it was busy. There is a bar and restaurant attached where our friend had a lasagne for dinner, which she said was fine. The area around the hotel is not the most salubrious, but we had a walkout and had dinner at a Portugese restaurant close by, which was very good.

I was sent here by American Airlines due to a cancellation. I’ll start with the positives, it was easy to get to from the airport, the check in staff were friendly. The room seemed clean, but I was given a single bed which was creaking all night and the mattress was harder than a woodpecker’s lips! I didn’t sleep well. The bathroom looked like an old public toilet, with railings everywhere and the floor all one piece like a wet room. I have shown a photo. The room was also dingy and dark. Only one lift was working, and it takes forever to arrive, so I had no choice but to carry all my luggage up several flights of stairs. Many guests complained about it. The dinner buffet was bland, and the drinks cups too small, they were more like shot glasses in a cheap bar. We were only allowed tap water. The man organising the dinner that night was rude and his English was bad. I felt like I was in a prison, in fact, prison food is probably better. I went out to find more food, and the street outside had dodgy looking men hanging around outside shops taking drugs and shouting in foreign languages. It’s not a nice location. I would only stay again if I am desperate. It’s not alot extra to stay at the Marriott which is incredibly nice.

During that limited time, our team did their best to provide the maximum variety of food available as quickly as possible. We are sorry that it did not fully meet your expectations. We are also extremely sorry to hear about your experience outside our property, though such circumstances are unfortunately beyond our control. Finally, we kindly ask that our hotel be compared with other budget properties, rather than 5-star establishments like the Marriott, as we operate in a different category and price range. We booked the reservation there through Amex Travel. We did a day layover in London meeting friends, the hotel's price seemed reasonable and the hotel's location was great. We took the hotel hoppa bus from the Heathrow Airport, which was 6.80 pounds each and the hotel was a second stop on the way, which only took us 30 minutes to get there, very convenient. There is also a bus stop around the corner that can take you to Elizabeth Line in 20 minutes if you are planning to go downtown. The room was clean, the bathroom had everything we need; the only thing it might be a little bit noisy in the hallway in the evening time. The check in experience was smooth, the only thing is there was only one elevator working, and we had a lot of bags, so we only took elevator from the third time because we could not fit us and the luggage in the elevator with other people. We had a great stay overall.
