Had a 2 night stay here last weekend. Staff very friendly. Room very good and clean. Sofa bed was a small double bed with very comfortable mattress. Right next door to Regent Canal so walked to Little Venice. Very convenient for all train/underground connections. . Highly recommend this hotel will definitely be going back. Don’t know where these people stayed with their negative comments, but we had none!

Great London hotel

Great location. Reception staff were particularly great but all the staff we met were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good - best hotel breakfast I have had in a while. Would definitely stay again.

Ruined my evening. I was booked to stay for one night (4/12) for business purposes and I had an appointment that evening. When I arrived, I was told that there was no room available for me and they would have to transfer to another hotel where they had arranged another room. My colleague received a room at the Novotel. I had to wait 15 minutes for their taxi to arrive, followed by a 30 minute transfer to Ibis on Gloucester Road. I was given an awful room, not enough room to swing a cat. The Ibis is a much inferior hotel and in far less desirable location. I had also lost nearly an hour to be able to reach my appointment and was now in a very different part of town. No recompense. I was told it would not cost any more - it should have cost far less or even nothing. Suffice to say, I will also be raising it with our coporate booking partners.

Overpriced, uncomfortable and poorly maintain

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When I arrived, the hand wash, shower gel, and tissue box were all empty. Only one side of the bathroom vanity lighting worked, and the floor had multiple black marks and dirty spots. The sofa bed for the third guest was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs, and even adding extra duvets didn’t help. The room was extremely hot in the middle of winter, and whatever cooling system they had simply didn’t work. I called for assistance but nothing improved, so we had to keep the window open all night. For a hotel carrying the Novotel name and charging four-star prices, the quality felt closer to one star. I stayed for four nights and honestly regret it. Stay away from this hotel.
