A Christmas Miracle: Exceptional, Quiet luxury with Warm hospitality

Outstanding Hotel experience. Luxurious modern accommodations. Family of 6, 3 rooms and two beds per room. We have stayed at the Langham previously and the Sofitel excels on many attributes. Location incredible. So convenient to many activities, yet tucked away in a quiet part of the street just off the main area. Short walk to lovely St James park which provides excellent running and walking trails and incredible bird watching. Adult 20s children loved the ability to get to nearly any neighborhood by walking and the others by convenient tube. Check in easy and quick, concierge and bellman always at the ready. Taxi always waiting outside. Rooms and hallways so quiet. Beds comfortable. Rooms elegant. Water pressure outstanding. And at Christmas holiday time, beautiful decorations including stocking on the door Christmas Eve and other treats. The bar was a true highlight with master mixologist Juan making some of the most gourmet and delicious proprietary cocktails ever experienced. He and his team’s hospitality exceeded their drink making skills. Always friendly and conversational. Beautiful tea room and restaurant with delicious breakfasts. Visited the Ritz and found it to be aloof and ostentatious. The Sofitel is quite luxury with all the elegance, convenience and hospitality one could wish for. Our first Sofitel wont be our last. Thank You Sofitel for making our London Holiday exceptional at every turn.

The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of London. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was very quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. We really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the hotel; we would gladly return.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city. Great service and staff hospitality. Breakfast was fabulous even though we chose vegan style in this period of the year. The bar experience was great too.

The team at the Sofitel,St James are world class.Intent on ensuring our stay was perfect . Kimberley is a huge asset . Brilliant location and lovely rooms can’t get better in London. Our second stay this year and we will be back .

We attended the hotel for a spa treatment and afternoon tea special - both were devine. First an hour’s relaxing massage in the sumptuous spa and then on to the delight that is the Rose Lounge for the Phantom themed afternoon tea. We are big fans of the show and the culinary production did not disappoint. The food was inventive, delicious and presented with such theatricality it was a joy to behold. A big thank you to our lovely waitress who made the day extra magical by performing her role with such aplomb Thoroughly recommended.
