We went for a family dinner; the food and service were terrific, especially thank you very much to Muthu, Priyanka, Simran and Vaygan. The chefs were also excellent; thank you to Mico, Boi and Mike.

Everything was great apart from the very loud noise of drilling and banging in my room. I couldn't get the rest I wanted after a long journey which I needed before I went out for the evening. The laissez faire response from the staff was unacceptable. They told me a notice of refurbishment works was advertised on their website. However it's not obvious! You have to open a window which appears amongst lovely advertising photography of the hotel. Even then, when you have read it, it says the works are "external" with no mention of how the works impacts on the rooms. I wasn't offered an alternative room and I would not have chosen to stay here if I was made aware of the deafening sounds of building works.

My family and I had really good time. Staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Great location near local Sainsbury, restaurants and cafes. 5 min walk to Paddington underground and 2 min from National express bus stop.

The stay was good, I had no major issues. However, I would prefer no music at breakfast and in the evening to enable conversation in the restaurant.
