As a member of Accor plus Novotel/Ibis are always my priority options and after 2 years my return to Balikpapan for business purpose stay in the same hotel. I was a bit disappointed with this current stay for several reasons. The hotel has a nice pool, and the people are generally kind and polite. However, the level of cleanliness and the condition of the room were a bit disappointing, and I would not say it is up to a 5-star level, as advertised. The worst part was that we did not have hot water in our room. Even though the hotel sent technicians to check and try to fix it, the problem remained.
