Lost my running shoes, adizero adispro2, could be left it in my room 902 or infront of lift area while waiting for ectra busy lift that time at 12.30-12.40 while checking out. I call reception and asked for further investigation. Officer got nothing.

I liked the facilities like swmming pool and gym. My daughter liked its location near Taman Bekapai, so every night during our stays she visited Taman Bekapai buying food.

I understand that this hotel is old. so I really don't expect much. the rate is good and we even get free 5pcs laundry promo, the location is strategic, the breakfast is okay, and I don't even mind that the room smells like it hasn't been unoccupied for a while and that it was dusty. however, your staffs are, sadly, problematic. and if possible I would give zero for my overall experience. first is the check in process. it took too long because (according to the staff) the person who handled our booking has resigned at the day of our arrival. then my laundry was not washed and the staff blamed me, which is fine because I did forget to sign the laundry list but I don't like how your staff conveys it. then on one day I asked if I can have my breakfast to-go because I need to be in office from 6.30 am but the staff said it wasn't possible, however the day before my friend had asked the same (breakfast to go) and their request are fulfilled. I then told this to the staff and then he said that I can have breakfast to go but insinuated that it was a hassle and that by doing this he had done something outside of his role. i thanked him but it was still rude. then when I checked out, my friend had checked out first in the morning and he already settled the bill, but the front office said that my friend hasn't paid... I was like what... then my friend gave proof of settlement via WA and I showed it to the front office, she just took photo of it and said no apologies... but really, I can let all of the above slide. but this one I can't: so I left my Company ID in the hotel room when I checked out. the ID was encased in a brown lanyard made of leather. my mistake, I know. I tried to confirm whether it was still there and the staff helpfully checked it in their lost&found. then the ID was returned to me--just the ID, without the lanyard. I was surprised and asked whether the lanyard is there and the staff said it was all they found. again, no apologies from the staff, even though this means someone actually go out of their way to take my ID out from the lanyard and then took the lanyard away to God-knows-where. it's not the price of the lanyard that is the problem, it's the integrity of your staffs that's about as existent as my patience while writing this. I won't return to this hotel that's for sure, but for your own sake to not offend other future guests, it will be imperative to fix this. thank you and best regards.

Pre stay experience, worst for me as ALL Gold Member and Corporate Rate (all reviews below already put on google review as well with proof pics) Been trying to reach out around 12.20 pm Bpn time, operator on receptionist picked up, i told that wanna make a booking for my company corp. rate, she said that would direct my call to the sales line, the sales line didnt picked, was a noisy as well but no greeting was said. Been trying several times called again and again, same things happened, kinda worse the operator didnt greet me and directed to the sales line i think, and still experiencing the same. Called again around 13.30pm Bpn time asking for sales number, given by the operator, tried to called and answered that the sales team all was having lunch break, she said to reach her out thru WA, i did that and confirming about booking and stuffs. The worst was she did not make any response upon my WA until i write this review, i was calling the opt receptionist again asking another number of sales team, given different sales person, tried to call and he was busy, tried to reach on WA, did not get any feedback as well, even when i caught her online on WA but did not make any replies, made me sick and confused Omg really bad pre stay and booking experience as i am ALL gold member and my company has cooperation for corp rate Checkin & during stay experience, conclusion the most bad service of novotel i ever had, pls read these all Checkin around the 4pm, again, there is a misscommunication between sales team and booking team, the person I contacted for booking, said by the booking/receptionist team has resigned a day after i made my booking Here is the funny thing, wondering if there is no coordination or some kinda work transition during the resignation, saying my booking was not made and issued by the sales PIC OMG i then showed the wa conversation to the receptionist and they made kinda 15mnts internal discussion and get back to us with available rooms. Me personally as ALL gold member, asking if i could be provided with room upgrader as my qualification compliment, saying another room above was full booked, will let me know if there is any, a quite funny story again, they didnt let me know and they just let it go Going inside to the room, i was kinda surprised its still the same exact vibe room throwing back to 2018 while my placement is in balikpapan, no even minor upgraded in the room, still same furnitures colors old tv old designed bathrooms desk etc, well how could i do anw I was expecting there is a special letter from gm/m as ALL Gold Member to be welcomed, well simple gesture and compliment could do the trick, again they didnt A side story inside the bathroom, usually and old fashioned bathroom where the shower located in on the bathtub, they provide a kinda footpad to prevent wets or slides, i have to ask to the room service saying they didnt have, bcs its used to be mossy and moldy (LOL isnt it their job to keep it clean regularly literally LOL), but they did provide on the next night finally Checking out time, some of my team member made an early checkouts as they had flights before noon, i thought things were fine, until my teammate made checkout and confirmed that he left his company id card & lanyard on the room, long story short, it took 30mnt to confirm, WHAT THE HECK is they said only found the id card only, meaning the lanyard is lost! OMG another heck story is, they didnt apologize, LOL literally LOL Another story during check out is, on of the staff saying one of my team who made early check out, he didnt close his final payment, so I reconfirmed to my him on WA, AGAIN WHAT THE HECK IS, my colleague has his proof he already settled and closed the payment with different card receipts proof Another another funny story, its literally hot in the lobby during my checkout i was asking whether the lobby ac is broken or turned off, one staff said its working and its ok, i saw some ppl in the lobby seating while using paper to make a refresher, another WHAT THE HECK is, minutes later, the staff speaking on the talkie, saying to check the ac and made it cooler, OMG did u lie or what, u could just apologize then get things work instead of denying denying and denying OMG I MEANT how come omg, under the same hotel management one building, they even cant make a simple coordination and transition, saying if that the case we will reconfirm to our team Omg i literally will cascade up my review on ALL website, omg such a bad bad bad experience staying in this novotel balikpapan as ALL Gold Member and corporate guest What i meant is, the hotel staffs and management could make another or even an extra simple gesture, talks, apology, to comfort guests specially for ALL Member and Corporate guests, but they didnt instead

Just realized this hotel is used for covid isolation, so 1 night was enough and moved to other hotel. I got information after I paid for my stay. I dont think I will stay here again till the isolation is over, even I am GOLD member of ALL

Excellent service. Great ecological awareness (instead of plastic bottles, you get a refillable glass flask to use with water coolers in the hallway). I'd give it 5 stars if it had more consistent wifi.

Efficient, Professional service. Rooms were clean and with sufficient supplies. Breakfast was the only meal I had whilst I stayed at the hotel, enjoyed the wide variety of spread offered. Being a Accor Platinum member was always acknowledged.
