Lovely hotel and great friendly service and a great location next to Brighton Station, from the moment we checked in, to check out, the staff are extremely friendly and cannot fault this place and will definitely return next time we visit. Nothing was too much. This was my first time staying in an Ibis. The room was on the 5th floor and had a view of the main road, this did not affect us, the room has aircon and heating and was very big and spacious. We will definitely be back soon The team were amazing

We have stayed here a few times when visiting family. It’s a great location. Close to the station. They do a really good buffet breakfast.

No way for holidays.

Not for resting peacefully Hotel on the main street, extremely noisy. Window insulation is useless. There's a pub or disco opposite. Which makes it hard to sleep. And the hotel fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night when it's quiet again. And at 8:40 am. Twice in the same night without any information. To be avoided.

Misleading claims

The room was clean, the staff were nice and the location was top notch. We did feel we were mis-sold on a couple of things though: The Ibis claimed that we would get a discount of 'approximately 50%' on their recommended carpark - the discount was actually 40%, so we felt they were stretching the definition of 'approximately' somewhat. There was also a large poster by the lifts advertising that for £6 you could get entry to the local sports complex - the Prince Regent Swimming Complex. This was correct in that you could use the pool and the gym, but the claim about being able to use spa facilities was spurious. (Incidentally the swimming complex is dirty and disgusting - I wouldn't recommend it).

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms were nicely clean and spacious. Well planned and everything was functional. Breakfast was nice and good variety every morning. Staff were very good in all departments. Nice choice of snacks on an evening and good variety of drinks. Only disappointment was children running around and setting the toaster on fire, while the parents were much too busy on Facebook!! But staff dealt with it incredibly well and deserve a medal to put up with it every day. Taxi service in the hotel isn’t very reliable so I would use other number.
