I stayed here for work and I would 100% recommend it. The blackout curtains were amazing at keeping out the light and they even kept out the freeway noise. I normally struggle to sleep in hotels but I slept like a log and it was really easy at this hotel. The food from the cafe in the morning for breakfast was great definitely recommend it. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the aircon worked great (i set it really cold during the day and then turned it off when it was time for bed) and it felt very safe. Lots of food option. Be aware when ordering uber eats though as my uber eats kept correcting to the King St Ibis for some reason.

The size of the room was stated when we booked, so no surprises there. Most importantly the room was clean. All staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is sometimes what 'makes a place' & this was the case for us. I'm sorry I didn't ask your name, but the barista rostered on the morning of Saturday 25th March 2023, you're amazing, not only do you make magnificent hot chocolate & my partner said your coffee was also fantastic, but your 'people skills' are exceptional!! Ibis Barangaroo is lucky to have you :-) We were also surprised to find the 'Archibald' exhibition on the hotel premises, we really enjoyed this & over two mornings saw many customers smile at this experience also. This gallery certainly complimented our stay, well done to all involved.

Booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary due to location and we believed for the price it was costing it would be ok. The reception staff were lovely. When we arrived we were excited to be there to unpack and hot the local area. We were given a room on level 2 with views out our window of the green edge/underneath of the freeway outside. We closed the block out blind and left it closed the whole weekend. We are afl lovers and wanted 7 mate on the tv to catch up on the game to find out it doesn't work. Tried to hdmi our laptop, they disable the source button. Room is very small bit great and had all facilities for just sleeping. We requested firmer pillows but they didn't arrive with pillow cases and when requested covers never arrived. Fabulously located to King St wharf, wynyard station and the city itself. Lovely walking from barrangaroo to the Rocks for markets, dining or to just watch the boats go by. Wild Sage cafe close by had great coffee. Overall I'd prob find another hotel close by for our stay. PS Globe sports bar around the corner was awesome for a bite and live sport

We enjoyed our short stay here during the SailGP in Sydney. We did not spend much time in the hotel nor our room and found it perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean and the front desk were very helpful answering our questions. We would recommend this hotel if you want only the basics.
