My daughter and i stayed here for an overnight stay for our early morning flight next day. Hotel was lovely and we both had our own rooms. Bed was comfy but did not expect to be woken at 02.15 by my daughter ringing me to say come to her room quick when i arrived the last thing i intended to find was a bed bug on her pillow. Obvisously there was no way we were staying there so we checked out way before our original time. We did report the finding to the manager and she took a photo of the bug from my daughters phone, now the fact that this hotel is not cheap this is the last thing youd wish to share your bed with but all i have had from this hotel is a thank you for bringing it to their attention and the issuse is under investigation, that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing else. Some kind of compensation or some kind of good will jestur would be nice but to totally sweep it under the carpet is not professional at all. If you stay here check your bed

An ideal stopover before our flight. The hotel is comfortable and quiet and the restaurant food is decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight was from the South Terminal. Access from the hotel is quick and easy via walkway and monorail. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked a one night stay after late evening flight arrival The room was very cold and unacceptable and asked for an alternative- we were shown to another room on the same floor (8th) which was even colder - we reverted back to the original room We attended breakfast at 9.45 and many items were not available and not replenished We have stayed here many times previously but “never again”

I stayed here on an overnight connection. The hotel is basically as close as you can get to being actually in the airport. Just a 3 minute stroll and you are in one terminal and the automated transit station to the other terminal is right here - a 3 minute ride. The atrium-style entrance area gives a feeling of space and calm. The receptionist was efficient and pleasant and the check in was smooth. The room was clean and the bed both clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was sufficiently high pressure to make for an enjoyable experience. The air conditioning wasn’t very powerful but it kept the room at a reasonable temperature all night. An early start meant I couldn’t take breakfast but I had a coffee machine in the room so I could head out on time.

I have stayed at the Sofitel Gatwick literally 100s of times over the last 25 years. I had dinner with my family at Vivre and the whole meal was made truly special by the world class service of Prabhjit Singh. What a legend. Thank you!
