Lovely staff, Tim and Ernest in restaurant did a fantastic job arranging dinner for us despite a Christmas party taking place. Really dog friendly, very quiet room, would not hesitate to recommend the Mercure to other travellers. We will return

I was here on business the location was very close access to the A21 and gives a good route into London and to the coast . The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant staff especially Tim were amazing great service and food would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The rooms are soo comfortable the food and staff are awesome especially time and fin ,most impressed , good parking which is rare in this area ,would definitely return the company use this chain on a regular basis which I'm very very happy about

We are local and occasionally pop into the hotel for lunch. However, on this occasion, we arrived early (1145 hrs), and the bar was closed, but the receptionist assured us it was now opening, so we waited by the bar. Many staff walked by us and ignored why we were just standing there. At 1215 hrs, with no sign of any barman or of the bar opening, and with no staff bothering to ask why we were just standing there, we departed. It would seem that residents or visitors can't get a coffee or lunch at this hotel, so the owners can't be bothered about earning revenue. Slowly, over the years, this hotel has declined.

We had afternoon tea at Mercure in Tonbridge. The staff were exceptional, in particular HOLLY who was friendly, welcoming and attentive. She actually made our experience there most enjoyable. The Tea was very nice and lots of it and tge surroundings very pleasant.
