We recently had the distinct pleasure of spending a weekend at the Gatwick Ibis hotel. The whole experience can only be described as exquisite. The room was spotless clean and very organised in terms of what one needs with a large walk in shower. There was literally no noise from anywhere and the quiet and peace was very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and very spacious for 2 people. There is a gym that I did not use and laundry service. It was good to know though because we are definitely going back for our next stay. The room was not pricey especially for a weekend as there are other hotels that are more expensive. The food was also good with decent prices, fairly cheap for London standards. Last, but not least, the staff is excellent in terms of service, friendliness, being helpful and accommodating! A massive thank you to Annette who helped us greatly on more than one occasions. Very highly recommended! I will only be staying at Ibis hotels from now on.

What a hotel, couldn't fault it, excellent service, exceptionally clean, breakfast was delicious, decor was very modern. Bedrooms were lovely, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but had double shower cubicle. Perfect stay before flying away on our holidays. 100% I would stay here again. Nice change to have 2 double beds in the room too as a family of 4 we often get a sofa bed which isn't suitable for 2 teenages. 10/10

I was quite frazzled when I checked in, having had 2 long-haul flights cancelled at the last minute and having had to book a third one, but I walked into what immediately felt like a nice village pub with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff who calmed me down. Very welcoming staff, comfortable room, good dinner. I’m not usually a fan of the cheaper airport hotels but this one felt different. Fun Art Deco travel posters and a Fiat in the lobby! Shuttle bus to and from terminals £5 each way and frequent service.
