Basically, the overall experience is good and I enjoyed the benefit of upgrade the room. However, the check-in experience is terrible. My aunt just stood at the front desk for half an hour until she got serviced despite her multiple requests of checking in.

We stayed two nights at Grand Mercure. Truely a 5 star hotel. Spacious suit reflects sino Russian style. Lovely in every respect. Centrally located, within walking distance of city centre. It's a good base for exploring Xi'an. Hotel conceirge organised a taxi to take us to see terracotta warriors. We liked the service and used the same taxi again on the following to the airport. Great!

It is one of the three hotels in that site. Dim signboard lighting made it kind of vague to identify the hotels . Reception service was good though the staffs' English proficiency could still he improved.

This hotel is located in historic Square with vast gardens and heritage buildings. I went from Wulukou subway station about 15-20 min walk. My room was upgraded from Mercure hotel and so I could stay there by very reasonable price. Because my departure is too early to eat breakfast, I want to try it on the next stay.

My friends and I enjoyed a very enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel. We were all given upgraded rooms upon check in, I believe on the basis of my accor hotel gold membership. We were able to use the facilities of both the Sofitel Legend and the Sofitel located on the same campus as the Grand Mercure. The location of the hotel is a little out of the centre - but it is walkable. All the staff were very helpful. Special mention must go to Echo who's English is excellent and, apart from checking us all in speedily, was able to give excellent advice and assistance in booking various trips and transport.

Room was good and no-smoking was correct (not always the case in China...) For breakfast, the type of meal was correct (only) and could be improved in terms of quality. The site is quite and it's appreciated. Location is good in Xi'an.

Beautifully located, nice services, good breakfast. Staff very attentive and Cordial. Cici, Rena and Echo were very helpful answering our questions and giving us some ideas. Very impressed with their hospitality and smiling faces.

We had a great stay at the Grand Mercure Xian on Renmin Square. The room was roomy and the bed was huge. The bathroom also had plenty of space. The only slight problem was the fridge didn't keep anything cold, so we order some ice each night to get the drinks cold.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel and staff were very helpful. Locations very central in Xi’an. Pool was very nice. Only concern was the smell of cigarettes on the floors.

It was great experience, staff were very nice to me specially ECHo, Rena, Dik and Lala. I ordered 4 omelette dishes and it costed me 640 CNY, it’s extremely expensive, other than this, everything Elsa was great. When I checked inn there were mistake in the price, as the staff showed me printed email that has amount more than what is in booking with almost 250 Chinese Ryan, the price on booking included taxes and service charge s. It still they wanted to charge me more. The hotel had no gym, pool and sauna, they said I had to go to the partner hotel nearby, I went to the partner hotel and the staff at the facilities were not friendly at all, they treated me like I am stranger, very tough receptionist at the club and he said you want only to check the place, I did not feel comfortable at all, many thanks.

I think,nowadays all hotels groups,same same! Just different facility! Important is 1.enjoy 2.comfortable Now ,hotel level is second. Just comfortable ,not enjoy! Nothing enjoy function . Just sleeping function. Have to change! Enjoy function! Ex,like a ship, No hotel staff to customer comnicate, Need to !customer to customer comnicate! To Acoor group message. Xian staff is good hospitality. I checked ,legend hotel. Not catch up hanoi metropol sofitel. Xian sofitel legend,no good names. Lost brand name. Just old building.
