It was our first stay at the Sofitel in a Waitui room. I had high expectations for the venue and service but was somewhat disappointed for the cost of the room, with the overall inclusions and service provided.

Beautiful hotel, grounds were stunning. Pool could have been warmer but we struggled through it. Staff was amazing. Only complaint was a pool waitress was not attentive at all when she didn’t get a tip at first serving. Then ignored us the rest of time and I had to remove my own dishes. The rest of staff were fabulous.

My wife and I travelled with our 21 year old special needs son, we booked a double queen room knowing the bathroom (from previous visit) would accommodate a roll in kermode/shower chair. The resort is very nice, staff are wonderful. It would be nice if the pool area had a hoist to enable special needs travellers to use the pool. Spa facilities were great and catered to permanent wheel chair users. The food at Solis was very good but mainly consisted of seafood with very few options for non-seafood eaters. The poolside bar had great snacks and tapas plates. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Being able to check in (including luggage) for Air Fiji flights at the resort was a great bonus - thanks!

Sofitel was our first stop when coming to Fiji, when first driving my siblings and I were welcomed by the kind staff. Greeted with amazing hospitality. There were a lot of restaurants to choose from with a beautiful view of the beach. Lovely variety of food options with our breakfast buffet. Definitely a family resort though, it was hard to find places for my siblings and I to do when there was mostly children and their parents have many things to do. Other than that I Sofitel was a great place to stay.
