Enjoyed everything about this hotel. Location, staff, breakfast, dinner, room - everything. We had a couple of dinners in the hotel & the food was truly excellent. It's a very well run hotel & all staff are friendly and professional. We would happily stay again.

The hotel is centrally located in the city center. The room is standard Sofitel quality. The staff are genuinely mice. Our room was described as Luxury Room with a view of Remarkables Mountain with a juliet balcony for $ 759. + $50 valet. We posted the actual view so anyone can judge it. Upon complained, we got standard answer: "you pay on what we describe. You can see.the mountan.." 10% discount was offered (which was rather insulting). Or we could get a full cancelation. 🙄 Again, the hotel is a good choice for central location, but buyer beware.

I changed this hotel at last minute, and it proved to be a wise decision. You literally cannot get a better location in Queenstown. A side from the location, the hotel is charming and has that boutique feel. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The bar was one of the nicest hotel bars I have had the pleasure of visiting. The breakfast was great and was an la carte menu, with attentive service. Although we only stayed for one night, I would say this is one of my favourite hotels.

Well located amazing staff. Overall the best stay we have had at a hotel so far!

Everything was perfect. We had a bad experience at another Accor property but this stay was amazing. Sofitel even let us store our bags the night before we checked in as we were going on a your to milford sound on the day we were checking in so we had no where to store our bags and so we tried our luck at sofitel and the Spanish concierge on duty (Juan I think his name was) stored our bags no problem for us. When we checked in we were greated by Priyan (sorry I don't know if this is the right spelling!) The duty manager on duty and he was a gem. Also the American concierge (I forgot his name sorry!) Was very friendly and gave us heaps of pointers on what to do on our last day in Queenstown. We were greeted every time by everyone with massive smiles on their faces which is true customer service! On the last night we tried the restaurant which was amazing (CJ our server was amazing!) And the bartender made great drinks (girl from australia). Also the buffet breakfast was delicious and we loved the option of being able to choose a dish from the a LA carte menu FOR FREE if you grab the full breakfast option. Thanks sofitel Queenstown for an amazing last two days and we definitely will be back!
