No friendly welcome from staff at all, just pay for your room $220. or place. To be honest the bed was the only good thing I can say about it and 1 plastic chair After being engaged with hospitality I was so disappointed. I bottle for shampoo hair, body wash, no hand wash at basin. Nothing to hang anything on. No hooks nothing for your outfit, had to put my case on the floor, One little wooden stick to use for coffee, 2 mugs, 1 little fridge nothing only milk in fridge. Window had blind pull down to the bottom, I look under the blind window horrible, dirty outside, could not see any light outside. I felt it was like a jail to start with. Very disappointed as over the years I have stayed in IBIS Budgets hotels. The people who run IBIS Redcliffe definitely need an update on the whole place. Will not be back to any IBIS now. I felt I was totally ripped off $220 was not worth that much. Sadly, I will not be promoting them.

Petrie dish for a hotel. Avoid at all costs.

This place needs to be demolished. An absolute filth trap! Everything was dirty; every single thing. Woke up with things biting, assuming bed bugs. The ‘breakfast’ was an open bread bag with 3 pieces left, sitting out on the bench. The butter was off and the spreads communal. There is no way this place would pass a health inspection.

For the cost of $170+ per night this hotel is rubbish in comparison with the Great Eastern Motor lodge ($120 p/n). The latter offers a free Airport shuttle, but not Accor. The 'King size deluxe bedroom', for 2 PAX, is just a very small (15m2) box. The shower/toilet room is so small that it is impossible to stretch both arms, in any direction, without hitting a wall. The washbasin is located in the 'main' room. There is no wardrobe (a few hanging visible coat hangers), cupboards, shelves or drawers. Don't know if there was a safe hidden somewhere (very unlikely) but was unable to find it. There is only one way traffic available around the bed. It's 3* rating is a joke. We will never have the misfortune to revisit this hotel and lucky that we had only booked in for one night before seeking alternate accommodation. Michael Evans

Don’t waste your money staying here. Expensive for what you get. We stayed 2 nights and paid extra for breakfast. Our room was small, grubby and tired. We asked for extra pillows - reception said there were no more pillows available. No bedside tables. There was a mini fridge (dirty) and a kettle plus tea/coffee. The window blind was broken and held in the down position by a large nail. A/C didn’t work well as the filters were covered in thick dust. Breakfast was a joke, we paid extra as we were led on by the photos showing a wonderful continental spread. NOT the case! Breakfast was a dreadful DIY affair. The offering was loose cereals and toast. The cereal dispenser was covered in dust and goodness knows how long they’ve been in there. Toast was a choice bread from a communal fridge. We were promised fresh fruit, cheese, bread, meats, pancakes and eggs - non of these were available. It was a case of making your own and a choice of cereal and toast. Absolutely appalling. The hotel staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.
