I recently stayed here with my husband to attend a music gig. The location of the hotel was excellent,4 minute walk from where the gig was, 10-15 minute walk to Cabot's Circus & a Wetherspoon's pub 7 minutes away. The staff were friendly & the hotel was clean. The price was reasonable too. We chose this hotel because it had underground, secure parking, however the car park spaces are very small & tight. We had a queen sized room which was plenty big enough for the two of us. The blackout curtains were great & we heard no noise from outside. The bed was quite hard so we struggled to have a decent sleep. The shower wasn't great, there was hardly any pressure & it didn't get very hot. The toilet door had no lock which is fine but when they closed, there was a gap in the middle. Also, the 2 paintings in our room were upside down, one looked like it was dry blood with a couple of squiggles in, this isn't a complaint, just an observation! We didn't have breakfast as we thought £18 each is alot. I would stay here again but more for the location than anything else.

I was uncertain about driving around Bristol for a visit and wanted somewhere near to the shopping centres and Temple Meads Train station, Novotel was the perfect solution, Train station was just around the corner, and shopping was an easy walk, didn't need the car at all. As for the room, very comfortable, everything you need and very quiet.

It was ok, great location and I've had good stays in other Novotels previously but I expected better

So many flaws - we won’t be staying here again

The staff were friendly but the general standards of the room were lacking. My child’s (he’s 2) bed collapsed beneath him and the team member on duty fashioned a repair with buckets and blankets. We’ve heard nothing from management addressing this - despite my contacting them. At the very least we expect a safe and secure bed from a hotel.
