Clean but several problems

The stay was fine (as we usually stay at and Ibis), however we ran into many problems during this trip. Our original room had no TV remote and we were informed it is very common to have these stolen and they were out of extras. After a while we were eventually moved to a new room. The other issue was the room keys stopped working every time we left the building. Front desk told us not to put the keys near our phones or credit cards (which we stopped doing despite this being a problem since we only carry a phone and wallet with us). However, the keys continued to malfunction causing us a significant inconvenience having to walk back downstairs after finding the keys don’t work then waiting in line at the front desk until they can give us new keys. In our 3 night stay I believe we had to have new keys made 8-10 times.

Great stay. Wished I didn't need to pay an additional 10quid for an early check-in (12pm instead of 2pm) and there were some guests were walking around/using the lift without wearing a mask and I avoided them like the plague - but other than that it was a good stay. Great location and friendly staff!

Hi Team, the hotel was a great credit to you, the rooms and comunial areas were all clean and well sign posted. The Hotels Covid information was well displayed and enforced. The ONE complaint was the room tempeture and lack off air conditioning. We opened the window as soon as we got there and set the tempeture down low on the thermostat but this never kicked in and the room felt very stuffy, making us go outside as soon as we could to get some relief from the heat.

Perfect overnight stay

We booked for one night, to attend the craft beer festival on the harbourside. The location of the hotel was perfect, no long walks home on a busy Saturday night. Very comfortable twin beds, quiet room, clean and tidy. A previous guest had put a sock over the smoke alarm, so we reported that. All the staff were pleasant and very efficient. We use ibis a lot, and would definitely book again.

Good location, poor room administration.

Location and room itself was fine. However staff double allocated my room, resulting in me returning to find someone else in my room with my bag in there hands. When I spoke to the staff about what they would have done if my property went missing was met with blank faces and rushed apologies. System needs to be better.

Great central location

Quick overnight visit to Bristol. One of the best locations everything within easy walking distance. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. A little noisy as very close to nightlife and restaurants so I would suggest requesting higher level floor, third or fourth floor.
