Charlies Corner is a place with life and music. Its a bar dedicated to beer. Its relaxed enough to enjoy a coffee in the day and sophisticated enough to enjoy a beer in the evening.

Clean budget hotel

It's not outstanding, but it's a good budget hotel close enough to the city centre to walk. The staff are friendly but sometimes there are language difficulties with the international staff. The breakfast is ok. I would not recommend it unless your boss is paying for it

This is a good location for us near thr cathedral and office. But it's very noisy.. I was on the 3rd floor overlooking a car park but the racket from the revellers outside was problematic. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper! Rooms ok, basic but good. Breakfast is disappointing. Too late for business users ( start from 6.00 as we have be at work for 7.. i got 90 mins grace!), staff didn't turn up until 6.57 and were not prepared. Breakfast items were not out, room lists weren't available. Staff seemed more bothered about getting their own coffees. Overall I'll probably find somewhere else as I'm here on business and the late breakfast is a problem.

Ibis as expected, very poor breakfast.

The hotel is what you would expect from an Ibis, standard rooms and public area all good. Staff very friendly and helpful and overall a good stay. Bathroom, as usual, was a plastic pod in the corner and the room was quite warm. However, the breakfast was awful; chewy bacon, very poor sausages, badly cooked and the scrambled eggs reminded me of reconstituted powdered eggs. It was also £12 each, so I suggest you skip it and go to Wetherspoons by the water. I know it’s central Bristol, but it is quite expensive to stay in a bog standard Ibis.

Bed was rock hard, only two pillows, could hear people in the corridor in the morning. Breakfast was okay, not much To offer they ran out if pastries

My wife and I returned to the Bristol after several years due to the Covid pandemic. We stayed at the hotel for a night on our way to Cornwall and then again for a night on our way back to Kent. On both occasions the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were very good with a great deal of choice the dinner we had at the hotel one of the nights was excellent. Car parking is easy and the cost reasonable for the convenience. It is not expensive for what you get is quality and it is now getting closer to what you pay for a room in an ibis and some premier inns. We look forward to returning to this hotel.
