Limestone Avenue Braddon. 10 minute walk to Canberra Centre. We regularly stay at this hotel. The rooms with an interior balcony are great. Olim’s the bistro on site has a beer garden and plenty interior tables inside. There are rooms that are dog friendly. Secure parking. Families will love the gardens and there is an aquarium/covered pool which our grand-daughter loved. Thanks to Sophie who checked us in and Troy who helped with Christmas Day lunch arrangements

Check in was quick and very helpful staff. We were upgraded which was great, large room, very clean. The car park was fenced and entered only by a code. The gym was very small. Breakfast was good. Not far from Anzac Parade and the War Memorial. Great pizza a couple of streets away

A quiet oasis, rooms overlook a lovely central courtyard garden with fountain. No street noise at all.

It may look Establishment and a little old from the street but the interior is in immaculate condition, celebrating its 1927 build. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel, itself with a mezzanine bedroom and bathroom. The lounge area, double sofa bed and kitchenette on the lower floor of our two level apartment. The entire room, including the bathroom and kitchenette were absolutely clean, the cleanest we’ve experienced of all the Accor hotels we’ve stayed at this year. A thought for those guests less steady on their feet : the stairs up to the bedroom are narrow and steep; the shower is over the bath and it’s a deep bath so you have to be careful climbing into the bath to use the shower. Best to check with Reception to obtain a suitable, accessible, room. Our apartment had a balcony; it was lovely to sit, with coffee or a drink and read in the sun, overlooking a peaceful courtyard garden with fountain. Use the secure outdoor car park at the rear of the hotel: Reception gives you the PIN code to enter and exit at the gates. Access to the car park from the hotel so you can park, after checking in, and carry your luggage to your room. We will happily stay here again.

We stay in this hotel occasionally as it’s comfortable and close to Civic. The restaurant options for both breakfast and dinner are ok and reasonable value for your $. It’s an older style hotel but has pleasant surrounds and is clean and well presented.

An older hotel, but full of character.

This is an older hotel but full of character. The staff were great, the rooms are comfortable. The hot water in the shower is hot and instant. The hotel is fairly centrally located (although we used Uber instead of driving). The hotel is showing some signs of its age but it has heaps of charm.
