Good afternoon Bruce, Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to provide us with your feedback - we really appreciate it. I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciate that you highlighted the issues with the light and the water noise and did investigate the matter during the course of the day and found that the water noise was a result of the rain rather than a leaking air conditioner above. The light fixtures in the hotel are standardized in all of our rooms and on investigation in your room I found that the plastic diffuser cover was around the lightbulb. I am sorry that these issues impacted your stay but will be taking your feedback on board for future renovations. On the plus side I am glad that you had a positive interaction with our Assistant Manager, Jeanie, I will ensure that your feedback is passed on to her - I know that she will appreciate it. Dear Annie, Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to provide us with your feedback - we greatly appreciate it! We are very happy to hear that you had a great experience with our receptionist, though am very sorry to hear that the bed was not comfortable for you. Also, I can understand about the size and layout of the room as it’s definitely one aspect that we would love to change come future refurbishments. With regards to the bathroom cleanliness, I am very disappointed to hear that your bathroom was not up to our usual high standards. Our housekeeping team takes great pride in the cleanliness of our rooms, so I will definitely be following this up with the supervisors to ensure that these sorts of things are taken care of well in advance of anybody staying in the room. I hope that we were able to make up for your disappointments during the course of your stay. I am also very sorry for the fire alarm - we try our best to educate our guests on the fire alarms and potential triggers. In this instance the toaster in the communal area had been left unattended, the toast burnt and the alarm triggered. We are very aware of the impact this may have on our guests and are truly sorry this has occurred.
