Senior Traveler . Happy to see a Walk in Shower, BUT, why was the Water outlet 7 ft up the wall . Surely the Hotel could put a Accessible Shower Head on a Pole in these Rooms.. Don't know what they are called. You could then actually get a Proper Shower . I think even parents with Small Children may like that . The Room had a strange set up with the Giant TV sticking into the Room. The Blockout Blinds need to be checked at night as there were annoying Gaps along the Window edges . The Staff were nice and the Food was good...

Fantastic staff, relaxed yet high standards throughout. Two exceptions ( but in context of fantastic overall experience) - glass ( windows and balconies...) facing the ocean are filthy - other world class ocean hotels resource this daily - seems the rooms are prepared to an excellent standard for arrival but subsequent daily room servicing falls below standards - perhaps we were just unlucky and team member was not trained/monitored?

We arrived here from the city and experienced a different pace of life and oasis of calm. When we arrived at check in we discovered that the beach villa that had been reserved by our agent was not suitable for our family member who required a wheelchair accessible room. The staff didn’t hesitate in rectifying the situation and ensuring we had alternative rooms suitable for our needs. We had lovely rooms with sea views and all the amenities we could want. As we were meeting with family whilst we were staying here we didn’t eat in restaurant other than for breakfast, The breakfast was amazing and well worth the money. It was a buffet style breakfast with everything you could wish to eat and very well organised. We also received some drinks vouchers and so we had a couple of cocktails in the bar which were very good and the bar had a relaxed atmosphere. We throughly enjoyed our stay at lovely Manly.

The location is great, and the service is not so much!

Under staffed. Generally, staff seem more interested in each other than guests. Queues for everything. Doesn't matter that you book VIP CLUB SUIT or DIAMOND MEMBER Accor club: no real benefits other than 2 sauna sessions, which was a nice touch. You can get free tea and coffee all day, but there is no barister, so I wouldn't recommend taking them up on their offer. AVOID breakfast at the Manly Pacific (1 star) expensive, poor choices, and no menu choices like eggs benedict or avo. ANSWER: decline breakfast and go to any other cafe on the seafront, always better value, choice, and quality. Tried to order room service, always engaged. Tried to book surfing through VIP number, never picked up. No concierge to help with luggage, so grab a trolley and do it yourself. We would come again on a different package on a week day and check to avoid conferences. Reason: the location. Positives: 1. The pool area and pool bar/food/staff were great. It is a small area and limited sun loungers, so plan your day. 2. Housekeeping staff are kind and meticulous. 3. Location location location. We stayed in 728. Great suite with wonderful views. 4. Views with direct access to Manly Beach. 5. Valet parking, but you will have to queue.
