Great location for exploring the markets. Harbour and other attractions

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife to explore the markets, the location to get this done is excellent. 20 min bolt ride from airport, this was far cheaper than uber and local cars. Check in was swift and offered a double bed as our provider had given us 2 singles at no extra charge. Tourist tax to pay of 5% of booking FYI. Our room was on the 7th floor with great views of the cathedral and the Ford fiesta ontop of the building. Clean free mini bar replenished daily. All amenities in shower area and most of all clean. My wife wasn’t a fan of the blind on the outside of the bathroom meaning you can play peeping Tom 😂. I didn’t…….huge windows free safe and plenty of room to unpack. A good nights sleep was had and I would definitely stay here again. We had breakfast included which was plentiful if I had an improvement better coffee machines/coffee as it wasn’t the best. The bar area is welcoming and staff ensure you’re drink is catered for.

Reception was not particularly friendly on arrival. Later was better. Service in the bar / restaurant was poor. It was a mix of a bar and restaurant with limited bar space. Service was very slow and the tables were left for ages with all the dirty plates on the table. Often for over an hour which was quite uninviting. Some guests left before ordering as it took too long. The room we had was good an we had no complaints here. Breakfast was also good. Location is good too A credit card was not asked for so we could not charge to the room. Not a big deal but that seems to have happened to others if the queues to pay, causing more delays, are anything to go by. Staff were friendly and not lazy but poorly managed I believe. The hotel is not cheap so it is a shame it wastes its opportunities.

This is a real Pullman, rooms are well equipped, had a real good sleep! Very wide windows which could be opened to have a fresh breeze. Hotel staff is very pleasant and welcoming. And the breakfast was really good, plenty of choices. Pullman staff in Brussels should take an example of this Pullman! Day and night difference! Hotel is well situated, walking distance to all attractions in Köln .

Definitely stay here!!!

Excellent place. Rooms are spacious and well fitted out. Free minibar was a bonus. Beds and pillows are comfy Breakfast was the best we have had huge range and fresh

hotel stuck in the 90's

The hotel is not really clean or properly maintained. i am on my second day here , but when i checked in the receptionist informed me it was not check in time yet without checking if the rooms are available. then she decided to check me in. when i went up to the 5th floor , there was the smell of body odor in the hallway . as i entered the room , i noticed the entrance was too tight to enter along with my luggage. The toilet was cramped, and the shower seemed not deep cleaned. The room refrigerator did not work , the bed received was 2 separate mattresses put together, and the bed leg had a liquid splash on it that was not cleaned. I asked for a room change , and i was given another room, after walking back into the lobby that smelled like cigarettes from the air being blown from the side entrance where smokers from the function hall go to smoke. The second room was not that clean either , the carpet had traces of food crumbs, broken glass and other debris. The bed mattress protector was crumbled and had human hair and skin cells. The toilet frame was not cleaned , and the bath tub looked like a cheap owner who does not want to spend much on maintenance. There is a concern on safety and hygiene when the property tends to save costs to cleanliness and the state of general maintenance. I do understand that this is an almost 4* hotel , but with a dirty lobby , out of order electricals , and tired / outdated furnishings ... i do not think i will be spending to stay at such a brand in the future. This is the first time in a pullman , and probably my last.
