If you are in a wheelchair or mobility scooter this is not the hotel for you

The hotel is very old, although being refurbished but because of it’s age it is not very disabled friendly. I hired a mobility scooter to enable me to get around over the 3 days but I was unable to use it after my first disastrous experience. There are old cobbled steps outside and an impossibly steep ramp that was too dangerous, the scooter got stuck in both directions and embarrassingly I had to get help both times just to get it off of the ramp. Anyway, back to the hotel, it was in a quiet area, I didn’t feel near enough to all the Christmas markets/ the centre that I wanted to see so I ended up getting taxis everywhere. Before going I had emailed the hotel a couple of times and got no response which is frustrating. The first room I was put in felt very oppressive, dark and gloomy so I asked if I could change. They said nothing else was available. After going to grab something to eat ( limited menu but lovely friendly staff) when I went back to Reception different people were on so I asked again about changing rooms and was offered a Prestige room ( at extra cost of course) which I took and was much happier with, despite the view of building works. The big plus was I have never slept so well, the bed, pillows etc were super comfy and I slept the whole night for the first time in years!

My sister and I visited Vienna for a short Christmas break. Sadly we were given a small attic bedroom with sloping ceilings and beds that were very close together. I had no table to put anything. There was nowhere really to put the kettle. We had to kneel in the shower otherwise we crashed our heads on the sloped ceiling. The beds were comfortable and the hotel is central. The staff were friendly but the room was unsuitable.

Very comfortable hotel, great location and breakfasts to 'die' for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't fault anything, the alley in which the reception is accessed gave a person a nice "Christmas' feeling with the decorations. Well recommended.

On sene önce de konakladığım otelin hizmet kalitesinin yıllar içinde bozulmamış olması sevindirici. Konum olarak Viyana'nın tam ortasında. Pek çok turistik mekana yürüme mesafesinde. Uzak olanlar için ise raylı sistem toplu ulaşım hatlarına çok yakın. Sessiz ve sakin. Viyana konaklamalarımda her zaman ilk tercihim olacak.

I was 2 nights in the hotel. The room was clean and the claning staff is very helpful and friendly! The breaksfast was wonderfull! The service team was so kind, but Marijana was the most adorable person there! She was so nice to everyone! Im sure im going back! Thank you! :)
