Traveled to this hotel with Jet2. It was okay and, as is fairly standard with hotels, they took a pre-authorisation of my charge card for drinks/meals and I settled my bill in full when checking out. However, since coming back they’ve taken over £700 from my account and there’s another charge in pending for over £600. The AM Konzerthaus accounts person is dodging questions and now has a message saying they’re on holiday and, so far, Jet2 don’t want to know. The Konzerthaus seems legit so I’m hoping really hard this is incompetence rather than fraud, but it’s absolutely shocking. For anyone living paycheque to paycheque this would be a disaster and I would certainly not go to this hotel again (IMHO Jet2 should be suspending it on their website!).

Fabulous design hotel

This is a stunning design hotel with a ted baker feel, very upmarket. Klimt prints on the walls are so pretty. Friendly staff, quick taxi ride to the train station. We walked from the train station on the way there and took forever so taxi on the way back much easier. Breakfast out of this world with plenty of choice. Lovely rooms.

Very clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel in a great location. Very close to our concert at the Vienna Konzerthaus. Easy to walk to the Old Town and many museums. Good restaurants nearby. Lovely lobby bar and restaurant. We would highly recommend!

Excellent, elegant hotel just outside the heart of Vienna

I stayed four nights in this comfortable hotel, which has polished staff, a superb breakfast, and well appointed rooms. My room on the fifth floor was quiet, sizeable, with a desk and a large table, a couple of chairs, and a large wardrobe, in addition to a king-size bed. The bathroom was decent-sized, with a fair amount of counter space, and L'Occitane toiletries. There's also a Nespresso machine and a mini-fridge with complimentary (I believe this is an Accor status perk) goodies. Housekeeping was particular about checking every day if the fridge needed to be replenished. They also provided turndown service some evenings, leaving small bars of chocolate, hand cream, pillow mist and so on as treats. I didn't have time to check out the bar, though I was offered a complimentary welcome drink (Accor, again). Unlike in many other hotels, I found peak time at the breakfast buffet to be earlier, around 7.30am or so. My theory is this might be because this hotel caters to a somewhat older profile of guest. Still, I did not ever have a problem finding a table. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and apart from all the usual items, all of good quality, also has local specialities like apfelstrudel (though not Sachertorte!). Transport-wise, the hotel is a few minutes' walk away from tram stops that get you into the centre of the city quickly. Of course, the Konzerthaus (where I had the chance to take in a performance of a Bruckner symphony) is across the road. The reception staff were all polished, polite and knowledgeable, every time I had cause to speak to one of them. Minor complaints: the glass panel separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom only runs about halfway down the side, so if you're not careful, you could end up getting water on the floor of the bathroom. And my key card stopped working a couple of times during my stay - which seems to be a universal problem in hotels that use key cards for access.

Very good hotel in the center of Vienna

Very happy about my stay in this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the location was great in the center of Vienna near Palais Schwarzenberg and Karlskirche (close to subway U1). I also had to cancel one night because of a late arrival (caused by the very bad weather on the week-end), and the staff was easily available on the phone and only made me pay the 4 nights that I spent. The room rate was a bit less than 150 EUR per night. The staff was friendly too. I didn't test the breakfast. The only negative aspect is the lack of restaurants in the surrounding area. I will be happy to book this hotel again the next time I visit Vienna, alone or with my family.
