This hotel is tired and showing its age. The bed was horriblly uncomfortable. The location is quite good but everything else id pretty ordinary including the service. just getting a beer in the bar and then paying for it. seemed difficult.The food in the restaurant was bland Honestly I wish I stayed somewhere else Looks good on the outside and the alleyway with umbrellas but all style no substance sadly

We stayed in room #139 which had separate rooms for the tub/shower and sink, and the toilet. The bed was a little stiff, but we like it firm for our backs. It had 4 pillows. Also included: A/C, bedside lights, a mini fridge, a small desk and chair, a TV, and a closet. The bathroom had hand/body wash and hand/body lotion at the sink, body/hair shampoo in the shower, a hair dryer, a make-up mirror, a nail kit, and a "vanity" kit (we did not open them). Breakfast was not included for us, but there was a bakery (Offerl) a block down the street with a nice selection and reasonable prices. The location was on a cute alley (with umbrellas, as pictured) and very convenient to a major metro hub (just 2 blocks to Wien Mitte-Landstrasse).

Excellent room was extremely comfortable and warm lovely after a day in the snow, little dated Decor, small bar open till late onsite, Breakfast was disappointing one coffee machine not enough cups, but worth the break and would stay again

The hotel is easily accessible by public transport, within walking distance one can access the underground or tram in about 10mins. One can also walk to Stephans Platz within 30 to 40mins of relaxed walking. The area is very picturesque and one can already enjoy the beautiful landscape. The hotel furnishing is kept in Biedermeier Style with some modern accents. It is relatively quiet and relaxed. The room is spacious and tidy, a complimentary bottle of water is waiting in the fridge upon arrival. At the breakfast buffet one can find a well sorted standard selection that is typical for Austrian (European) cuisine. Bread and rolls, cakes and croissants and cold cuts and cheese platters are always well filled. One can also find fresh fruits, yogurts and milk as well as different types of cereal. Warm options include pre-cooked eggs and sausages or one can also have an egg dish to be prepared to order. Unfortunately, the vegan selection is very poor, only sweet spreads, margarine and cut vegetables are available. Additionally, the choice of gluten free bread is not of the highest quality, besides not being prepared properly. The restaurant in the hotel offers a selection of typical Austrian cuisine, which is (according to my travel companion) very delicious. Unfortunately, the choice of vegetarian/vegan options is small as well. In general, if one wants to spend the time exploring the city, the hotel is ideally placed and the hotel amenities include everything one needs to have a satisfactory stay.

Stayed here celebrating our anniversary with a trip to Vienna, the hotel was so kind to put some chocolates in our room to wish us a happy anniversary, the staff were very kind and helpful and gave us a list of recommendations and the reception seems to be open 24 hours, the rooms were clean and comfortable with all usual amenities we had no complaints, the location is also great as it’s a few minutes walk from the nearest train station which can bring you everywhere, would highly recommend
