The rooms are kind of tight for a double bed, too close to the wall and I had to dress in the front of the room. The service, Lila of housekeeping, kept the room spotless and very prompt with our needs in our room. Contributed to a very pleasant stay.Thanks Lila!

Spent 3 nights here in late October and we were happy with our stay. The location is in an ideal location as you are able to walk to all of the main sites, and have access to many food options. The tram and train is also very close We had a double twin room which was a good size, space to put our luggage, it was clean. The bathroom was a good size with a supply of toiletries, robe, slippers. Room included a free mini bar which had water (was replaced), orange and coke. There was also a coffee maker and kettle. 2 things I didn't really like: We had the top floor (5th floor) with one small window which was a roof window We could hear a lot of noise from a nearby bar late at night/ Breakfast was included: good number of options warm food, a good mix of cereals and yogurts, fruit etc. I saw one guest had ordered an omelette one morning, while I didn't it was good to know.

The Mercure Vienna First was the first hotel of our 3-capitals trip to Europe - it was great. The welcoming and helpful concierge set the tone for our stay - the room was quiet, spacious, the beds and pillows really comfortable, and all the usual TV and wi-fi were supplied. We enjoyed the huge variety of coffees, juices, fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, breads and sweet pastries at breakfast - the service was excellent and friendly. Pubs and other eating places are close by - and well as public transportation. Something we didn't find in other hotels: an unusual arrangement of the shower panels in the tub which made it protective and very effective. And we certainly appreciated the umbrellas available to guests during the heavy rain period of our stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights in a premium double room. The upgrade to the premium room was well worth it for the extra square footage as well as the amazing bathroom. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location could not be better being located to both the U-Banh and the trams. There are also some great bars right across the square for some low key night life. Would stay here again if we were back in Vienna. The only complaint we had was the bed was slightly too firm, but that is a minor detail.

This hotel is ideally situated as you can walk to most tourists attraction. Also located near to the underground which is ideal to get to both palaces. Bar and restaurant are also really close to this hotel, which makes it such a convenient choice. The staff and receptionists at the hotel are really nice and friendly, we were always greeted with warm welcome.
