I’m a frequent guest at Sofitel Cairo Elgezirah, with 5 to 6 times stays every year. Last time was disappointing for me, as my booking was supposed to be in a panoramic millesime room, but unfortunately I was given a lower category room with partial nile view and regular bathtub shower instead of stand shower. Everything else was good as usual but the above incident spoiled my trip. Regards, Nasser Binsaeed

Unbelievably bad service. I made a booking via third party agent and asked the hotel to confirm my reservation before reaching (for my peace of mind), but the hotel refused to confirm. Just because I have booked via a third party agency, you will refuse to confirm if you have received my reservation? Shocking behaviour of reservation sales agent - Abdelrahman Yasser

The Candle Ritual is a tradition celebrated allover Sofitel Hotels worldwide, inspired by the tradition of lighting up the streets of Paris since the era of Louis XIV, which had been recognized and admired by Sofitel hotel’s guests. We regret that this Storytelling of the Ritual was not explained to you during your stay. Loved the 5 nights I stayed here while on a busines trip to Cairo. My room was excellent, spotlessly clean with fantastic view over to the pyramids and everything was comfortable and relaxing. The facilities were great and I used the gym and outside pool every day. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. The staff were freindly and professional. The club lounge provision was also great.
