Nicely located. Rooms are well appointed with views over the city and Nile. Wifi is good. Food is high quality. Service can be slightly patchy with requests (in both dining and in room) being forgotten and neending follow up on a few occasions. Avoid lower rooms if possible as there can be quite a lot of noise off the Nile at night (party boats). All in all a well appointed hotel in a nice position. Would be happy to stay again.

Overall a great experience, a lovely location and an exceptional service from the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. Also, the food and the view are both amazing. Definitely not my last stay.

Excellent facilities with an enchanting view of the Nile

I spent two weeks in this hotel on a business trip: luxurious hotel without being snobbish, large rooms with a view of the Nile. There are three restaurants in the hotel with excellent food and great variety (both oriental and international). Special mention: courteous and hospitable staff and breakfast with a wide variety of choices (both continental and other types of breakfast).

I loved the stay , it was a stay for my 11th anniversary, the hotel arrange the prestige suite no. 2201 which I always stay in it every year, the room was fine decorated and full of flowers , fruits and cake.. We met Madam Gihan El Bialy and Miss Yasmine in guest relation and they really took care of our stay , Thanks to all the team in Sofitel who made my stay memorable.
